The Emerald Coast’s premier resort destination is the Portofino Resort on Pensacola Beach! Indulge yourself at the most desired address on all of Florida’s Emerald Coast. My 2 BR unit located on the 12th floor in Tower 3 faces the Beautiful Sound. The open floor plan features 40 feet of panoramic Sound views, allowing breathtaking views from each and every room! Floor to ceiling glass in both of the sound-front bedrooms and the family room, 9 foot ceilings with crown molding, and an expansive (28 feet) private balcony with gas grill. Elegant Tuscany columns, domed entryway, arched ceilings, granite counter tops, imported Italian floor tile throughout, and the master bathroom Roman whirlpool tub only begin to describe Portofino’s distinctive Mediterranean feel.
Beautifully furnished 1,335 square foot unit with a king bed in the master bedroom and queen bed in the guest bedroom. Both bedrooms have private baths and there is a half bath in the common area. There is an L-shaped sofa in the great room, which opens into a queen sleeper. Both bedrooms feature TV’s with DVD players, ceiling fans and direct entry to the balcony. Floor to ceiling light blocking drapes offer a great sleeping environment.
The great room includes an entertainment center with flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound system for theater quality sound. The dining area features an ornate glass-top table with seating for six. In addition, 2 bar stools offer additional seating facing into the fully equipped kitchen. The condo is equipped with high speed wireless internet and two reserved parking spaces under the building offer you a cool automobile since they are shielded from the hot sun!
Pamper yourself at Aveda Concept Spa, a $5M 40,000 square foot lifestyle center, featuring customized body treatments, facials, full body massages and pedicures, available poolside or in your own resort residence. Part of the Portofino experience is the Lifestyle center that includes state of the art exercise machines and free weights. Every treadmill, elliptical trainer and stairstepper has its own cable equipped TV and DVD player.
Portofino features a gourmet restaurant as well as a poolside grill, an indoor Olympic pool with a soaring wood-beamed ceiling, two outdoor zero-infinity pools and decks overlooking the magnificent Santa Rosa Sound, whirlpool spas, saunas, steam rooms, and a Kids' Camp during summer months. Attendants are available to bring food and drink to you at your request!
The soundside beach features a boat landing and dock. A water taxi is available for a fee to take you to the boardwalk, where there are quaint shops and restaurants. Water sports such as parasailing and kayaking are available. For the athletic minded, there are five lighted clay tennis courts; pilates/yoga/spin/kickboxing classes on premises; Tiger Point, a 36-hole championship golf course, is a water taxi ride away; onsite rentals for bicycles, kayaks, sail boats, boogie boards, and water bikes. Enjoy bicycle riding or hiking on Gulf Island National Seashore’s paved trails.
The private Gulf side beach offers not only beautiful white sand and emerald waters, but also attentive and courteous personnel available to provide chairs and umbrellas at a reasonable rate.

Given the price and location, I was skeptical at first, but as soon as we checked in, I'm thoroughly impressed with the unit. While it does not have the ocean view, the bay view and working grill more than make up for it. First class, spacious and well arranged rooms suited for a family of 6 (we have 5). Beautiful location, away from the crowd but not too far from it. As with all condos, it is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. I'd definitely come back to this unit if we vacation in Pensacola again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing.

We throughly enjoyed our week stay in this unit. It is very spacious and clean. It does not have a beach view but it has a very relaxing view of the bay with boats and serene water and sand dunes. The owner was very prompt in replying to emails and provided all information needed for our stay. We always enjoy the Portofino property. You have so many options. If the gulf is too rough to enjoy you have the bay to enjoy with all its activities. The bay is GREAT for young children and of course the pools are great as well. A half day fishing trip early in our stay provided us with an abundance of wonderful fresh fish to prepare for meals during our stay.

Our family had a great time in Portofino and this location was perfect! The beach and pool are both easy access. The trolleys leave regularly to provide transportation to restaurants, shopping, and more. Beds were beautiful and comfortable, made you want to lay down for an afternoon nap! Balcony seating was plentiful so all could sit outside. Note to coffee lovers-condo has a Keurig single cup machine only. Plan ahead. Fitness folks will appreciate the fitness facilities-well outfitted! and indoor pool.

We stayed at Mr Evans Portofino unit 1206, 8-19 thru 8-22-10....What a great unit..We had everything we needed just as if we were in our own home....The unit was spotless! The view was absolutely gorgeous with spactacular sunsets! Thanks Mr. Evans, you were great to work with......

I stayed in Tommy Evans' Tower 3, Unit 1206 Portofino condo during April 16-19, 2009. The condo was clean, spacious, had wonderful views of the Sound, had easy access to the beach, and was beautifully furnished. My family enjoyed everything that the condo had to offer. I enjoyed doing business with Mr. Evans, and I would definitely recommend staying in this condo.
