Rest and enjoy nature in our OCEAN VIEW LOFT which is located right on the waterfront and the deck overhangs the water.
Enjoy breath taking views of Walace Island, Trincomal Channel and Salt Spring Island.
Your private deck is sheltered by trees. Awake to a morning sunrise with a cup of java or relax the day away viewing eagles, whales, sea lions many birds and wild life. Take in the stunning sunsets with a glass of wine. Launch your kayak from the beach below your deck.
Enjoy local sight seeing, food, fishing, hiking and more.
Enjoy the warmth of a fire at night, or just lay back and enjoy some rest & relaxation. Come and enjoy island life at Madrona. Relax at the ocean or in the shade of the forest canopy.
The loft is supplied with bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, living room, fireplace, linens and dishes.
Private deck, barbecue an outdoor hot tub is available for guest use.
ASPECT:
The Ocean View Loft is one of the accommodations we have that sits right on the water. The view from our beach looks across Tincomali Channel toward Salt Spring and Vancouver Islands. We are surrounded by large trees and therefore provide habitat for viewing eagles. Other common animals include humming birds, raccoon, weasels, mink and deer. From the Ocean Loft Deck sea lions and orcas are often seen.

Kate and George were very welcoming hosts with a wealth of local knowledge. The loft was well equipped and clean. We especially enjoyed the large deck with bbq and fantastic ocean view. We spent enjoyable late afternoons on George's float - great for sunsets. Looking forward to a future visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Madrona Lodge Resort By The Sea is situated on the sunny side of Galiano Island about 22 km from Sturdies Bay and about 19 km from Montague Harbour. We're just a 30 minutes drive along Porlier Pass Road from the Sturdies Bay ferry terminal. It fronts on the Trincomali Channel and has a sweeping view of the sea, neighbouring islands and backdrop of mountains to the south and west. There are delightful sandy beaches where you can picnic and safely swim.
At the south end of the island is Galiano Gulf Course and Country Club. It is a beautiful nine hole course. The club house has the usual amenities. Green fees are nominal and all visitors are welcome.
