  We were travelling with 3 families (6 adults & 15 kids) and the house was perfect. Loved the main floor especially the fact that a group our size could actually sit down and have a meal all at the same time! We have been renting on Fort Myers Beach for many years now and this is hands-down the best home we have rented. House is beautiful, being across the street from the beach was perfect and the location to restaurants and Times Square was just a short walk. The big screen TV was a hit with the kids and the outdoor TV was so cool! The owners have thought of "almost" everything - just need a kettle & tea-pot for us tea drinkers :) However there is a nice coffee shop across the street which we frequented after our morning walks. Owners checked in with us often to make sure we were looked after - very friendly and accommodating. Thanks Bob, Dave & Kim - we had an amazing holiday!

  From the moment my family stepped foot in this 3 story spectacular house we were in love and decided if we ever built our own beach house we would design it just like this one. It was even better than the pictures. There were 10 of us staying here (6 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 infants) and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space, while having a great open floor plan on the 3rd floor where we could all hang out together. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge lani with gulf views, the heated pool and hot tub, the house sound system, the projection screen outside for night viewing, the spacious kitchen for cooking, and the close proximity to the beach and the downtown. There were plenty of beach towels for the pool and beach, and the beach cart made it easy to transport toys, chairs and our umbrella. We were able to control the temperature of the pool, which was nice for the one day when it got a bit cooler but the little ones still wanted to swim. Considering the traffic that backs up on the main road, we were pleased that we could walk to the grocery store (Topps) and liquor store, as well as The Royal Scoop (great for ice cream), The Heavenly Biscuit (delicious cinnamon rolls) and the pier. Everyone in our family agreed that we would love to come back and stay here again. This amazing house made for an absolutely perfect family vacation.

  This house is amazing! We rented it for four nights so that all of our adult children and spouses could stay together on Fort Myers Beach. While the house is across the street from the beach, the access was so easy and the view of the water from the living area and lanai was great. Everyone had their own bedroom and their own bathroom which made everyone happy. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The electronics in this house are the latest and greatest! The projection televisions in the living area and outside by the pool are HUGE, so fun! All of our adult children want to come back and rent the house with their families and/or friends. The furnishings are very upscale and stylish. Everything in the house is new and extremely clean, it even still smells new. The only negative thing we experienced was when we had to leave the house, everyone was sad. haha. We had planned to go out in the evenings while we were staying there but instead ended up ordering pizza delivery and cooking at the house because it was so fun and comfortable there. Bob was just a phone call away when if we had questions and he was very responsive. There are so many restaurants and bars nearby, it is an easy and fun walk to them. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for a great time on Fort Myers Beach!

  The house completely exceeded my expectations!! We had a group of 12 ladies who stayed at the house, there was plenty of room for us to sleep and get ready. The common-space was large enough for us all to enjoy. The house was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. The house had everything we needed to cook a large meals for the group. It is wired for music to play throughout the house, which was a feature we took full advantage of while we were there. The group spent most of our time enjoying the pool and hot tub. The location of the house was perfect. It is in walking distance of a grocery store, the beach, several bars and restaurants. We rarely used cars while staying here. While renting the house the property manager went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay! He helped answer all of our questions before and during our trip! He was extremely helpful throughout our entire experience! It is the perfect location for a big group to stay and enjoy time together!! I would recommend the house to anyone looking to plan a vacation near the beach. I could not have asked for more... it was the perfect rental!! Our entire group looks forward to returning to the property in the future! Anyone looking at renting in the area should consider this property- it will not disappoint!

  Our extended family spent five nights in Bob & Dave's beach house over New Years. First of all, Bob and Dave are super nice guys. They called and came by a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. They want to make you happy. They notified us that we left a bathing suit and they cheerfully mailed it back to us. The house is perfect for a big family beach trip. It is a brand new house and they did everything first class. The electronics are state-of-the-art. Two projection TVs, one by the pool and a giant 110 inch 3D in the family room. An I-pod docking station that you can play throughout the house. Many other flat screen TVs. Premium direct TV....they even provided NFL Sunday Ticket. The design is easy to live in. Everything is nice but done in a way that you don't have to worry about wet bathing suits or spilling something. There is a screened in porch with a nice view that opens up to the kitchen and family room areas. This porch has sliding doors that you have to see to believe; they are about twenty feet wide. This really opens up the living area into the porch area. The house is across the street from the beach. Your beach access is directly across the street. They provide you with a little cart to carry beach items. It just takes a minute to get to the beach. A perfect location beach-wise. You are an easy walk to the Times Square area. One can easily walk just about everywhere. Drive about two miles to the Publix. Trico Fish Company is an excellent fish market on Main Street (where the boats dock). They carry only fresh local fish and shrimp right off the boats! Walk down to Heavenly Bisquit for breakfast or Chuck's Last Stop for lunch. Cruise back to the house for Margaritas. We enjoyed the pool area every night. Projection TV, hot tub, heated pool, fish on the grill....what is there not to like? Book this house if its available!!

  Our 1st complete family vacation to Ft.Myers,Fla. was beyond all our expections as we rented a this Bayview, huge,beautiful, newly finished 6 bedroom home..We all went "oh my goodness,can you believe this" It's beautifully decorated and all the extra's you could ever want..Our family of 11 enjoyed christmas day, and the week, playing games(they are furnished, along with a pool table, electronic arcade games and outside pool with hot tub!To top off, A wide screen TV to watch as we relaxed in the hot tub..Totally cool!!Huge Great room with the biggest screen 3-D (glasses provided)TV ,That I'v ever seen in a home..Lots of room to roam and everything you could ever need or want and a plus~~The owners are wonderful and are right there if you need anything!! We, as a family ,can't discribe, in words how blessed we were to connect and share this home together..Beyond perfect..We walked everywhere and the beach was right accross the street..We even went fishing on the pier..Fun-fun!! Thank-you sooo much Bob, for this beautiful, perfect vaca. home away from home..We will certainly be back!!

  Our family of 7 (6 adults and one toddler) stayed here over Thanksgiving 2012. This was our favorite family vacation ever. The construction had just been completed and we were the first to rent this new spectacular home. It was everything we had hoped for and even more!!! Having the kitchen & family room on the 3rd flood was such a great concept… the elevator was pure luxury! We found the home to have all the modern features that we are accustomed to. The bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious with a spa like atmosphere. We loved the game room on the lower lever, with the heated pool & hot tub, excellent to relax in and to top it off… the BIG TV screen out by the pool! Nothing like watching football under the stars, in a hot tub! The beach access was perfect as well as beautiful, with the newly makeover recently done to Fort Myers Beach! All restaurants, shopping were within walking distance, with the grocery store 5 minutes away. We highly recommend this rental to anyone planning a stay on Fort Myers Beach.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Wow, we just celebrated a birthday here with friends and I share the same sentiment uttered by my 10 yr old nephew: “I want to come HERE every year!” This house really made for some amazing memories. We live in Miami, and so, to be honest, when we were originally looking for vacation rentals, we were looking at the Keys or Naples. We stumbled upon this listing and decided to go to Fort Myers Beach, even though none of us in my party had ever been. It was the best decision we could have made. The house is a short 1/2 mile walk down the beach from Times Square, which is this adorable enclave of shops and restaurants. Although, I will tell you this, you will probably not even make it there…this house has everything you need. Bob, in providing for the ultimate experience, has thought of everything. Thoughtfulness is in every room. All you need to bring are your clothes! There are plenty of towels, a beach cart to take your things, wine glasses, bath soap in every bath, a martini shaker…even beer koozies! The game room is great for kids and kids at heart. There’s an arcade game that has possibly every game under the sun on it. There was a pool table and poker table, as well as board games. Hello! There was even a projection screen TV out by the pool. Fun! Seriously, we only left the house to get food/groceries. Now, my sister is a restaurateur and in our group of 12, there were 3 chefs (me included) and we were VERY impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. There was a substantial set of pots and pans and cooking utensils. Bob even stocked the house with baking necessities, like cookie sheets and whisks. Honestly, there’s even a hand mixer! My sister made her special Christmas biscotti because of it. The kitchen will inspire you, as the layout is made for entertaining. If you’re trying to decide on which vacation rental to choose, look no more. This house left an indelible mark on my family/friends and will be a part of your memories for years to come.
