The Sand Bucket is a single story two bedroom/two bath town home conveniently located roughly 10 min from Folly Beach and 10 min from downtown historic Charleston. The James Island County Park is literally just a few minutes away. The park features paved trails, paddle boat, kayak, and bike rentals, fishing, playgrounds, and an awesome waterpark. The Super Walmart is within walking distance of our neighborhood.
The neighborhood is quiet and has a paved walking trail going around the entire community. There are free tennis courts in the neighborhood. Adjacent to the tennis courts is an area to park your boat or RV.
Our two bedrooms have queen beds. It sleeps 4 with additional room for an air mattress (not provided). Front bath has a walk-in shower with rails suitable for handicapped individuals. We have WiFi, PS3 for gaming and watching DVDs, and satellite TV.
Please note that during "high season", preference will be given to weekly guests.

About the owner: We fell in love with the Charleston area when our oldest son attended college at Charleston Southern. We love the beaches, walking and shopping in the historic district, shopping at Tanger Outlet, playing golf, visiting the plantations when the azaleas are in bolo, etc, etc. When our younger son decided to live in the area after graduating college, we knew we wanted to have a place in the Charleston area, too! We never grow tired of going to Charleston!
Why the Owner Chose James Island: Beach lovers at heart, this location was perfect for us. We can be at the beach in minutes and we're also so close to downtown Charleston where the shopping (and eating) is great!
We just recently discovered the James Island County Park and we can't wait to take our little granddaughters there.
