Named for the old tree that grows in the front yard, this property is located on a residential street but is still a short 5 minute walk to a popular lake Erie beach and park, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, miniature golf, and a few bars. A short drive will get you to several local wineries (5-10 miles), brewery (4 miles); Geneva State Park (5 miles), and to Geneva-On-The-Lake's Strip (6.5 miles).
Three bedroom cottage newly available and renovated in 2012. Sleeps 7 (1 queen, 1 full, 1 twin over full bunk bed). Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots & pans, and utensils. Living room has a 42 inch high definition television and cable and a small sound dock speaker system for your ipod. Wireless internet is available. Ceiling fans are in two bedrooms and in the living room, and there are two window air conditioner units - one in kitchen/dining area (which is near the master bedroom) and one in guest bedroom. Cottage also includes a grill and an outside eating area.
Excellent for romantic getaway, family retreat, or as a place to stay while visiting the many local wineries.
Madison is conveniently located 45 miles east of Cleveland, 65 miles west of Erie, PA and a one hour drive from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Maple Cottage. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated with all the comforts of home, the owners were very accommodating to our needs and the AC was a welcome bonus. I would definitely recommend this property to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
