Our beautiful 2900 Square foot home is the perfect combination of elegance and comfort so your family can enjoy our home the way we do!
This property is located just one minute to downtown Winter Park where you can enjoy World Class downhill skiing and snow boarding at the Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Resort. If you prefer Nordic skiing or snow shoeing, just strap on your gear and step out your front door to the meadow opposite our home.
Our beautiful single family home is located on the bike trail that goes through downtown Winter Park so you and your family can easily and safely ride into town, to dinner, to the new Recreation Center and the brand new cinema and bowling alley! We have stocked trout ponds close-by too, so you and the kids can have fun fishing.
Our beautifully maintained and appointed home features a private hot tub, attached and oversized 2 car heated garage, lovely stone fireplace, and hardwood flooring. The home is thoughtfully crafted and laid out to accommodate families and friends traveling together, and provides all the creature comforts you would wish for in your vacation home.
The main level boasts extensive hardwood and natural stone flooring, a large family area and dining room and gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, breakfast bar, and work desk. We also provide all the essentials and 'extras' so cooking-in is a treat! We have stocked the kitchen the way we would like to have cooked in the many vacation homes we rented over the years. We have a crockpot so your meal is ready as soon as you're off the mountain, a coffee pot, waffle maker, and a pancake griddle so you can save money by making good, delicious home-cooked meals! We even have spices so you don't have to buy them or bring them from home.
Adjacent to the dining room is a 'study' with television and foldout sofa-sleeper for additional guests, or individuals who have a hard time with stairs. A beautifully appointed full bathroom, and walk-in pantry complete the main floor.
The second level features a beautiful master suite with king-size bed, large walk-in closet, and full private bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms, each with queen bedrooms, that share a full bath in the hall. Full size washer and dryer complete the upper level.
The bonus room above the garage is set-up with a king sized bed, pull out sofa sleeper, and we can provide a full size air mattress for your group if this is needed. There is a TON of space in this area with a flat-screen TV and we also have a Wii System with a handful of games for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy! Full bath as well!
The home is equipped with Wi-Fi (bring your laptop), cable TV, and local phone service. Additionally, we have a games for your family to enjoy, poker chips, and cards.
We have stocked the home with nice towels (none of the flimsy, cheap, smells-like bleach options you find at other homes). We have separate towels for the hot tub which is great after a day in the outdoors! We appreciate quality, and know that you will too!
There are so many 'things' to do in Grand County year-round (winter sports, ice-skating, boating, fishing, biking, snowmobiling, etc). If we can help make recommendations or point you in the right direction, please don't hesitate to ask. There are some great restaurants in town too, we're happy to recommend in the welcome package you will receive.

We had a great time! All conditions were excellent. Our family has been coming to stay and ski in Winter Park every February for the past 8 years and EVERYONE in our group agreed your place was the nicest we have stated in. (Even the kids) We all loved the location, floor plan, decor, etc. The private hot tub was wonderful for after each day of skiing. Julie was excellent to work with and very responsive to our needs. I'm sure Julie, also, had something to do with the great powder days we had on the mountain. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful home! If we could give it a 6 star rating, we would not hesitate!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay here! The house was nice, clean & updated. Just a short drive north of Winter Park. Loved the heated floors & hot tub! We had 3 couples stay & had plenty of room & could have accommodated more. Julie was a great host & always responded promptly with any questions. Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Home is beautiful with more than enough space for 9 of us. Great location, great neighborhood and loved being close to Winter Park without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Owners were more than accommodating, attending to all of our needs and treating us like their own family. The house was clean, comfortable and was an enhancement to our Christmas vacation. Hope to be back again soon!!!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

We recently stayed in Winter Park over Thanksgiving week. The house exceeded our expectations and although a slight plumbing problem Julie responded immediately and problem was solved. The house was great, location great, and we really had a great time. Will return possibly over the summer..Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just returned from our vacation in the Winter Park / Fraser area. House was absoultely amazing, even better than we had hoped for. Owners are very helpful before and during the rental process. Very well appointed, beautifully decorated home full of all the amenities a family needs for a relaxing getaway. This immaculate property is perfectly located very close to the heart of Winter Park and activities! The home is thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, right down to spices and a waffle iron making it feel as if we were in our "home away from home." This is the best rental we've had of all of the rocky mountain hot spots we've stayed. We already reserved it again during the winter season!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We just love the Winter Park area and have been skiing and vacationing here since we moved to Colorado in 1998. We currently live in Boulder but try to get up to the mountains as much as possible to enjoy the beautiful place we're lucky enough to call home. We are so excited that we are able to share our vacation dream with you! We new we would love the winters: skiing, boarding, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing, but what surprised us was just how much we LOVE the summers: bike riding, dirt biking, fishing, walking to town, hiking.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We fell in love with this property right away based on the proximity to the things our family loves to do, the space that works for sharing time with extended family and friends, and the beautiful finishes. We are right on the bike trail which allows us to easily, and safely ride into town to enjoy the great dining options and entertainment. We also love the open meadows that surround our property allowing us to fish in the stocked ponds, or snowshoe/cross country ski without ever getting in the car! We are a stones throw to the new rec center, and the Fraser Tubing hill, and we are a block from the ski shuttle. We feel like we are 'in-town' even though we are in a quiet, friendly community.
