This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is beautifully decorated with furniture and art pieces in the Native American style. It has a den and a beautiful porch, you can truly relax inside or outside. Very comfortable, well-maintained and equipped with everything you might need. Young children and teenagers will love it here! The backyard is a national forest and there are lots of trails to go hiking and just enjoy nature. The owners are wonderful people, very kind and available for any questions or issues you might have. Thanks! I would recommend this property to all my friends and relatives. We would love to come back here!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful hideaway! This well-appointed cabin has beautiful decor and very comfortable beds. We had a memorable and relaxing stay...sitting on the porch and listening to the river below. If you are visiting the La Veta/Cuchara area, this is the place to stay. The layout of the cabin is perfect for two families but also cozy enough for a couple. The children's playhouse and sleeping loft is a plus for those with little ones and the beautifully landscaped backyard with outdoor fireplace is a piece of heaven. We will be back as soon and as often as possible!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This home far exceeded our expectations! It is very easy to locate and convenient to the main highway. The home is beautifully decorated, met all of our needs for beds and cooking, and has the most amazing outdoor area! It is in the mountains yet secluded from the rest of the world. There are restaurants nearby (within a mile) and hiking out the front door. We would highly recommend this home near Cuchara as a terrific place to get away from it all in the cool weather yet be nearby any necessities needed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
