  We loved the north shore and felt we were in the perfect location! The unit was just as shown on the pictures. Usually we find that the places we have stayed aren't quite as nice as they look in the pictures so we were thrilled when it was nicer than we had anticipated. We loved our stay here!

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beachfront condo. To start, the location is great. It is right on a nice stretch of beach that never got too crowded. It is very close to Haleiwa for shopping or eating. The pictures were very accurate of the space. It was incredibly clean and very well taken care of. It also came stocked with all kinds of useful things. There were surfboards, beach chairs and an umbrella, just to name a few things. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay on the North Shore. If I go back, I will definitely be staying here again.

  The pictures on this condo don't do it justice. The interior is very well appointed, with nearly every amenity needed for a pleasent stay present. From the kitchen to toys, you won't be wanting for much. The closeness to the beach is amazing, snorkling right off the beach yielded amazing pictures of sea turtles. Very close to historic Haleiwa with all its restuarants and shops - but still nice and quiet. Just know that it is on the third floor, but still well worth the stay!!!!

  What a wonderful experience. The condo is everything it is advertised to me and much more. After viewing the photogrpahs and seeing other comments, I was fairly certain that it was going to be nice. I had no idea that it was going to be such a cool place. The owner was great to work with and answered many questions. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. It is decorated in a surf theme that really captures the local scene. (My wife wants to redecorate our place... thanks!) A word on Haleiwa...it is a great little surf town and the people are really friendly, but if you are expecting wild night life and a Las Vegas feel, this is not for you. Haleiwa is in the country complete with wild chickens which adds to the charm. Stick to Wakiki if you are into the party scene. This is a family friendly place to stay. The beach is as good as any beach on the island and we loved swimming with the turtles, making sand castles and boggie boarding. We traveled with a 10 and 12 year old who slept in the living room. They were comfortable and slept well. Our room was nice. There is an airconditioner, but we never turned it on. At night we just let the breeze blow through the condo. The bed was extra soft and we both slept well. Not only is this property recommended, but we plan on coming back next year if at all possible. The only negative was leaving.... after a week here, we all felt like it was our home. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.

  If you have rented places from on-line rental sights before, you've probably noticed that the pictures posted are seldom an accurate representation of the property. Usually I find myself a wee bit disappointed, but not in this case. The photos of this property are current and the description very accurate. The property was clean and obviously well cared for. The furniture was actually comfortable, the interior decorating had a cool "North Shore" feel, and the condo was adequately stocked with all the amenities of home. After viewing 4 other condos in the same complex (we had travelled with a large group), we quickly determined that our rental was the nicest. In fact, the open layout and modern kitchen made our rental "the" place to host group suppers. The owner was a delight to deal with! Any issues that arose during our stay were dealt with quickly and professionally by the owner. The beach in front of the condo was wonderful with excellent snorkelling. There were more colourful tropical fish and majestic sea turtles than Haunama Bay! It was also possible to whale watch from the lanai. Even when the surf was rough elsewhere, the water in front of the condo was usually calm enough to enjoy thanks to the natural reef located farther out. The condo was located about a 10 min. walk from old Hale'wia town where you could rent surf boards, paddle boards, experience some of the tastiest food on the island (especially Hale'iwa Eats Thai), and get your fill of shaved ice. Do not miss the Old Waialua Sugar Mill, only a 10 min. drive from the condo, where they serve locally grown coffee, chocolate, and shaved ice that puts all others to shame. It's worth driving to Kaena Point natural area to observe Hawaiian Monk seals napping on the lava rocks. On the way to Kaena Point is Dillingham airfield where you can climb the mountain behind it and watch the skydivers, gliders, and whales from the Kealia Trail. On the way you might recognize the boys and girls camp where episodes of the t.v. show LOST were filmed. There is so much to see and do on the North Shore and this condo is a perfect base of operations for exploring the area!

  Had a great stay at this condo in January 2013. The owner notified us prior to arrival that he was waiting for a part for the Fridge and had installed a smaller fridge which was good so we did not buy frozen goods. Other than that nothing was wrong with the suite. It was very clean and well upkept. Had all the amenities and it was nice to have the two bathrooms. The owner had decorated with some great pictures and signs nice detailing. The complex was nice, beach had some shade. Lots of beach to walk and some great surfing to watch at the park next door. Turtles came up and lay in the sun every day. The BBQ in the evening was nice to have and the lady who ran the strata even came to our aid when we forgot to get matches to light our coals. The lanai was very comfortable and had nice views of the sunset and then the evening sky with an amazing moon while we were there. We had a few days in Waikiki before coming home but had a nice surprise when we got home our deposit refund cheque was already there, sent the day we checked out which is great. Would recommend this suite and hope to go back.

  We arrived late in the evening and found everything as advertised and the location convenient to the beach and village. The view of the ocean and beach from the Lanai was beautiful. We were especially happy to have surf riders and snorkel gear provided. It was always good to get back to the condo after a hard day of playing. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks Joe!

  This condo has it all. First, let's start with the location, in real estate "location is everything". Easy to locate, not far from the main strip in Haleiwa. There is a lot of parking. The building is less than 100 ft from the sand and surf, location is GREAT. Beach is not over-crowded like Waikiki, very relaxing and the turtle sightings are priceless!! Once you try to get past the amazing location, then you get inside the condo...WOW! The interior is decorated by a pro, beautiful set up...you'll think it was straight out a magazine (my wife now wants to decorate our home like it). It is not your typical vacation rental spot that you just lay your head and leave. It is a clean, fully equipped condo; 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, free wifi, cable, XBOX, 2 flat screen TVs, whirlpool tube, surf boards, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and much more. It has a balcony, where you can relax watching the sunrise/sunset. Just sit there and listen to the roosters (lol in the morning) and the waves crashing on the shore...just so relaxing. You can't get half of that stuff, if you stayed at a hotel or other condo. It will fulfill your every need and enhance your family vacation or a friend get-away. The owner is very cool and has the true aloha spirit, so if you are looking for the total package...don't hesitate, book it now!!

  The condo was excellent, Joe created a comfortable, clean, cozy place to stay with so many nice little touches. Surf boards, boogie boards, ice chest, beach chairs, beach towels. He showed great hospitality to his guests. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had before the trip and during our trip. The professionalism he showed was most appreciated, and he provided much information about the things you can do in Haleiwa. This town is so charming, we fell in love with the town and the place. Snorkeling was amazing and we left the door open at night to the waves on the beach. Joe is a testament to how VRBO represents itself. Thanks Joe for making our stay so great, we will see you again next year.
