Our vacation home at 1010 Valley Ave is situated in the quiet area of Marco Island very close to the beach as well as the shops, pubs, gas station, ATM etc.
We come back to 1010 Valley every year after a 30 hour flight - so it must be worth it!!
We enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, the relaxed feeling of Marco Island coupled with the up-market feel you get from the great beach hotels and shops.
We also love the relaxed dining and entertainment arrangements at the various restaurants (especially the 'Snook Inn' at the end of Bald Eagle Rd.)

Enjoy a tropical, paradise vacation with your family or friends in our private Marco Island house, with private, enclosed and heated pool. It's just a 3 block walk to the beach access at South Beach, or if you prefer, stay in and enjoy the pool, which has a most favourable southern exposure (for sun all day). The property is located on a quiet street, and is less than ½ mile to all conveniences - groceries; movie theatre, restaurants, ice cream parlour, and more.
You'll find our vacation property in excellent condition - with central air conditioning, includes clean bedding, bed and bath linen and a fully-equipped kitchen including toaster oven, blender, microwave, etc. High speed Internet access, cable TV (Large Screen LCD TV in lounge, a large TV in the main bedroom and a TV in each or the other rooms),VCR's in each room, phone service and ceiling fans are located in all rooms
A home that is great for couples and families: High ceilings and a spacious, open floor-plan make this property perfect for gathering with your family and friends. The living room is large enough to accommodate a crowd and contains a queen-sized sleeper sofa, love-seat and 2 large rocker recliners. Also, there is plenty of space for meals with a separate dining room and an eat-in kitchen with French doors to the covered lanai which also features a beautiful 6 seater glass top aluminum patio set.
The master bedroom suite with private shower, king-size bed and sliding glass doors to the pool area is located on one side of the house. The second bedroom, with a queen size bed and the third bedroom, with twin beds are located on the other side of the house. All rooms have tiled floors. You have found the perfect vacation spot. Here's the surprise…even during peak season, Marco is not the busy, crowded beach area that has become so common elsewhere! Excellent location, near the beach, pool very clean, enough towels It is equipped with everything you need, I recommend it to everyone And most importantly you can take your pet. Marco Island Paradise in Florida. 'Our' house in Marco Island was a dream. With bedrooms for my wife and I and one each for the children - heaven. We'd just arrived from 3 nights in a hotel in Boston all shacked up in one room; Valley Road went well beyond our expectations. I am so glad I found Richard; he was a pleasure to deal with. The pool was cleaned at least once during our week there. You're two blocks from the beach although you've got everything in the house that you need. TVs everywhere, air-con, brilliant and spacious kitchen. Bedding, towels, whatever you needed it was there. Even internet connection, had the boss allowed me to bring my laptop! Thank you, Richard, and to anyone thinking of going - don't think, just do! Liezel and I stayed at 1010 Valley for 2 weeks and had a GREAT time - we enjoyed the Beach - a pleasant 10 min walk - the Snook Inn (www.snookinn.com) and all the shopping in the area - not to mention the golf - cant WAIT to go back for our 4th annual visit in a row!!! Its May 2012 and I am back again for a short stay - oh what a joy to be in this area - not only Marco but the whole of South West Florida. I have stayed at 1010 Valley a couple of times and found it to be a really friendly 'home from home' kind of house in a quiet street close to everything, the Garage is packed with various 'holiday enhancing' things like bicycles, baby goods like hight chair etc, beach chairs, umbrellas etc etc etc - even a spare fridge!!!! Georgina, a nearby neighbour, is so very friendly and helpful. I was a regular visitor to the Snook Inn as recommended - very friendly folks there. Boat rental (on the way to the Snook Inn) is easy and recommended. the beach is to DIE for at sunset - take time out to go EARLY with a basket of goodies and blanket and enjoy the whole show!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: Richard Daneel and Paul Perring are business partners who each own their own Travel Agency in South Africa. We have been renting out property in the USA for the last 10 years. The first 5 years was in Kissimmee in Orlando where we rented our beautiful home in Indian Creek to tour operators in the United Kingdom. This area became hugely over-traded as more and more houses were being built which negatively affected the property prices at the time.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We just LOVE the area around Naples especially Marco because is is close to Miami and Ft Lauderdale - this is where South African Airways used to land non-stop from South Africa - sadly they have now cancelled the flight and we now go via New York - it takes us 30 hours door to door!!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
we love the fact that it was an older home that was on the far side of Marco which is close to the quiet end of the beach. and we have Beach access (with parking) just around the corner at Seagrape and Swallow Ave just off Collier Blvd
