The Area Around the Palms
Palms of Treasure Island is located on famed Gulf Boulevard right on the intercoastal waterway in Treasure Island, FL home to one of Gulf of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches. Treasure Island beach in particular is one of the widest beaches in the area with gorgeous white sugar sand and great swimming in the warm waters of the Gulf. Beach access is just across the street. The property is two blocks south of the beautiful Treasure Island causeway with access to I-275 leading to convenient Tampa International airport. The property is less than 2 miles south of John’s Pass with restaurants, boat rental as well as area rental shops for bicycles, electric scooters, and water craft including jet skis and parasail. Just south on Gulf Blvd. is the famed Ft. Desoto, named number one of the nation’s best beaches in the last 5 years. And, Palms is less than 15 minutes away from the Don Cesar Hotel, the Vinoy Hotel, some of the nation’s historic old hotels. And if your vacation is not complete without fishing, John’s Pass, just north on Gulf Blvd., has excellent fishing charters, as well as casino boats along with scenic views from quaint shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic time over spring break at this condo. We saw dolphins, pelicans and ibis every day from the balcony. The beach is across the street, family friendly with paddle boards available and wonderful restaurants all within steps. Our teenage daughter enjoyed the shops and the outdoor market we found one day. The white sand beach stretches for miles and is great for walks. The condo itself is lovely and spacious, with two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and a TV in each bedroom as well as the living room. We were all really able to spread out and relax. On some days our daughter loved the pool at the condo as much as the beach -- the pool is large and long enough for lengths. There is a Publix grocery store right next door. It was so nice to have a pot of hot coffee and our breakfast on the balcony each morning! Really nice finishings, with granite in the kitchen and bathrooms and stainless appliances. The unit was very nicely kept, immaculately clean, and also had a washer and dryer. The unit is on the back, facing the pool, green space and the canal and was very quiet and peaceful. I would stay at this condo again and would highly recommend it to others.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Having recently moved south from Boston to Florida's East Coast, we found this to be the ideal spot from which to begin our exploration of West Coast beaches, attractions and activities. We chose Treasure Island for its central location along the 28 miles of barrier islands that hug the Pinellas Peninsula Gulf shore. Whether enjoying the Beach Parks to the north, bike riding around Fort DeSoto Park at the southernmost tip, shopping in the eclectic enclave of Pass-a-Grille, or visiting The Pier and museums of St. Petersburg, there is something here for everyone. And the condo itself is gorgeous! Spotlessly clean, contemporary and tastefully decorated, it felt like our home away from home and we appreciated each thoughtful amenity. If "just chilling" and "not cooking" is more your style, there are many choices for food, beverage and fun all within walking distance. The pool, bay and the beach are all right there, or you can relax on the balcony overlooking the water and enjoy the view from this beautiful, private, corner unit. We'll definitely be back for our next great West Coast, sun and sand adventure!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The upgrades, including the new flooring was really nice. Love this condo, location, beaches, parks, shopping and what a fabulous New Years Eve! We were able to watch the fire works right from the condo balcony. I love this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful, fully equipped condo. I have very high standards of cleanliness and this place was clean and cute. We were able to rent a boat and pull it right up to the dock. Great for water skiing and other water sports. Pool overlooks the intercostal waterway. This place is within walking distance of "EVERYTHING!" Check out "RickyT's for great bands." Publix supermarket is right next door. Seriously...this is a rocking location and a great condo! I'm looking forward to my next visit to TI and the Palms!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
