Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We live in Ridgewood, NJ. We purchased the home as a family getaway as well as a destination for sporting activities, including golf, boating, other water sports and skiing.
Why the Owner Chose Manchester Center:
We have been coming to Manchester for over 10 years because friends have second homes here and love it, and we grew to also love the area. We like this house because it has a great location, has a lot of (mostly wooded) land for privacy and the open concept kitchen/dining room/living room makes entertaining friends and family easy.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love the layout of the house and its close proximity to town and the mountains. We can hike and snowshoe out our back door. As some of the pictures show, the property in the winter is beautiful with the snow hanging on the trees. In addition, we like being on a dirt road, but it is NOT a long dirt road (so you get the feel of the country without all of the drawbacks of driving on a lot of uneven and dusty/dirt roads).
