Accommodations: Tower1 is directly on Beach, 2 Bedrooms (both have king size beds) + Bunk Area, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6 adults 2 children) We also have a 1BR/2BA unit in this complex (VRBO 425226) if your interested.
You will be met by the owner when you arrive. This unit is different because we live two blocks from the condo and personally check you in. You are not dealing with someone who lives several hundred miles away that does not know the condition and cleanliness of their unit. One of the complaints we hear is that many vacationers spend time calling long distance to get something fixed or having to clean the unit themselves up to their standards. On site management cannot help with these problems because owners do not pay them too.
Our Penthouse View from the nineteenth floor condo has amazing ocean views with spectacular sunsets from one of the largest balconies (units ending in 3 or 7) fully furnished and has many upgrades that you will not find in other condominiums or hotels. This is a completely furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit, with bunk bed alcove area built in and Sleeper Sofa. Everything in the unit is new and was professionally decorated. We have a 55” in the LR, 40” in the MBR, and a 32” in the 2nd BR, Flat Screen TV's/DVD's. You can stay home and cook in the fully furnished kitchen if you desire or there are some outstanding restaurants within walking distance like Bonefish Grill and Another Broken Egg. Within ½ mile you have many restaurants to choose from like Montego Bay Seafood, Los Rancheros Mexican, Sweet Basil's Bistro, a very nice upscale Fire Fly which boast a unique casual fine dining experience (where the President dined), and Salt Water Grill that has a 25,000 gallon aquarium behind the bar. You are close to a new Publix, Wal Mart, Ripley's, the Water Park, etc. and only 3.6 miles away from Pier Park. This complex has a Tiki bar for drinks and burgers, 2 pools and 2 spas, a fitness center. Enjoy many on-site amenities including seasonal beach service and an on-site fitness center with two pools (one heated) for guest use.

Policies and Fees:
As a luxury beach resort, we have designed our policies to ensure that we consistently meet our guests’ expectations. We encourage you to review the terms and fees we have itemized here. Also, feel free to contact me for answers to your specific questions.
Age Restriction: To reserve a room at Grand Panama Beach Resort, our policy requires guests to be at least 25 years of age. Individual situations, however, will be addressed by request. Number of Guest in unit: Only the number of guest identified and agreed upon at reservation will be allowed in unit. At no time will more than eight people be allowed in unit. The unit sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. Bunk beds are weight limited to 100 lbs.
Check-in Checkout: Checkout time is 10:00 a.m. Later checkout times are granted based upon availability. To inquire about departing at a later time, please contact us. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Failure to vacate on time will forfeit deposit.
Guarantee and Cancellation Policy
To guarantee your reservation a reservation/damage deposit must be received to hold reservation. This will be returned to you after you vacate the unit (mailed within 24 hours). If you cancel your reservation every effort will be made to rent the unit which you would get your deposit back. If owner is unable to find a replacement you forfeit your deposit. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to check in. Personal checks, e-checks, credit cards, traveler’s checks and cash will be accepted. Personal checks must clear the bank before check-in.
Hurricane Policy:
We the owners will provide a full refund to guests if a mandatory evacuation for the Panama City Beach area is ordered by the Bay County Emergency Operations Center.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q. As a rental resort, does Grand Panama Beach Resort provide sheets, towels, pillows and other linens, or do we need to bring our own?
A. You do not need to bring bed, bath or kitchen linens. We provide a full set of sheets, pillows and blankets for each bed, as well as linens for the sleeper sofa. Your unit will also have enough bath towels to accommodate the maximum number of guests per room type, along with hand and dish towels for the kitchen. BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED, SO PLEASE BRING THEM!
Q. What is the age requirement to rent a unit at the Grand Panama Beach Resort?
A. At least one person in your group must be 27 or older.
Q. If we check out early, will we receive a credit or refund?
A. Once you have checked in, you will not receive a credit or refund for any unused portion of your Panama City Beach vacation.
Q. Do you offer airport pick up?
A. Airport transportation is available from Sunshine Shuttle.
Q. Do you offer daily maid service?
A. There is no daily maid service. Guests are provided with towels and linens that should accommodate their stay. Each unit also has a washer/dryer, which can be used for personal items as well as towels and linens.
Q. Can I bring a pet?
A. No pets are allowed and will cause an immediate eviction and loss of payment.
Q. Can I smoke in the Unit?
A. This is a no smoking unit. You can smoke in the common areas or balcony. Smoking in the unit will forfeit your deposit.

We had a great experience with Don at Grand Panama. He met us at the condo to show us around and made sure we had everything we needed. He even allowed us to check in earlier in the day since no one had rented the unit the previous night. He was very honest in all of his actions and made sure our stay was as expected. My husband & I recently booked this condo off the vrbo web-site for our July vacation. For a reason that was out of our control we had to cancel this date with the owner. Don was very professional when I emailed him the news & immediately sent our deposit back to us within a few short days. He asked no questions nor made this transaction unpleasant. We certainly would consider renting from him again for our next vacation to PCB. I feel if any owner is this gracious and caring about the needs of his guests, he would also care greatly in providing them with an excellent "home away from home" vacation site! Don and Julie are terrific hosts and landlords; we appreciate their attention to detail and to making sure our stay is a good experience. The condo is nicely decorated, comfortable to live in and easy to keep clean (which is important with our long stay).The condo is well maintained and very clean. Having the phone and wifi in the unit is a bonus. The balcony is a good size - perfect for watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the gulf and the dolphins while enjoying a drink or a meal. This condo is within walking distance of good restaurants of varying prices and menus - hot dogs to fine dining. Don is just a phone call or email away should we have any questions ranging from good restaurants to shopping and golfing. Our grandkids are looking forward to the beach and to the heated pool. This is our third year coming to PCB as retirees and this is the best accommodation we have had; we will be back to this condo next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We unfortunately had to change our plans for Summer 2013. We contacted the owner in January 2013 and were able to get a refund of our deposit. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. We have stayed at numerous condos along PCB over the years and this unit is a league above the rest. This is the second time this year we have been in this condo. We enjoyed the great space in the kitchen as we prepared pitchers of Strawberry, Pina Colada and Banana Daiquiri’s in the unit Margaritaville Daiquiri machine. We enjoyed the Tower 2 pool on the 6th Floor as well as the ocean front pool. All in all our experience was better than what was described in the listing. By the way the owner met us at check-in, helped get our bags to the unit and gave us a tour of the property which was a great way to start our vacation. Southwest Airlines from Long Island NY to Panama City was only $108. We just spent a fantastic week in this great condo in a pristine location! The beach is crystalline and white, super clean, with tons of bird and marine life to enjoy. We were especially thrilled with all the dolphin sightings and Sting Ray’s we saw from the 19th floor balcony! We loved our long daily walks on the beach and followed up by a nice swim in the waves. We will be back next year in April.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our one week stay at Don's new Condo was awesome. The condo was tastefully decorated and very clean. The beach was not near as crowded as some of the other resorts at Panama City Beach. The Grand Panama is a beautiful resort and very convenient to numerous restaurants and Pier Park. The WI-FI conference room was an added feature that allowed me to get in some work before heading to the beach each day. Check in and check out was a breeze, with Don meeting us when we arrived. We can't wait to go back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The condo was excellant. The owner was there when we arrived and helped us with our bags to the condo on the 19th floor. The condo was very comfortable for our family of five. Everyone had there own bed. The view was spectacular and the balcony furniture very nice. And you must try the Margaritaville frozen drink machine. It's great. Thanks, Don, for your hospitality. We had a relaxing time.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Excellent unit, beautifully decorated. Owner gave the personal touch, met us at the unit, helped us with our bags and showed us around. Now is that service or what. Not enough pool chairs for such a large complex so be ready to rise and shine early to beat the rush...no reflection on the owner. Pool security was great. Rules were enforced that what makes it a family friendly place to stay.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I think they must wipe the baseboards and light bulbs. I rent a summer condo every year and this condo was the most comfortable one I have ever been in. It is tastefully decorated, it has firm comfortable beds, plenty of towels. The owners even had hand soaps, dishwasher and laundry soaps. The view is incredible with a large balcony that you could dine on. You will never find a cleaner condo. This makes is very easy for me to relax.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

About the owner: We retired from Ft Rucker, AL after 26 years in the military and moved to the beach in 2001. We love it here and wanted to have a place to enjoy the ocean. We have a 1 BR in Tower 2 since 2011 and liked is so well we bought a 2BR ocean front and have decided to put on the rental program.
Why the Owner Chose Grand Panama Resort:
We chose Grand Panama because of the construction and the way the property and grounds are maintained. I worked with many developers for several years during the condo boom and was aware of which Condominiums were the best constructed and the ones to stay away from. I feel like I am at a resort every time I visit Grand Panama.
