Outstanding for Large Group
Outstanding for Large Group
We recently had a retreat for my team from work, and this place was able to fit our needs perfectly. Not only did we have enough room for our larger group, but also had lots of public space to hang out. One of our team was a chef, and he found the kitchen up to his standards. We easily walked into town, and were able to make this retreat a most memorable one.

Owner response: Happy to hear it fit your needs. Wonderful you had a chef with you. The town of Depoe Bay is fun, our family really enjoys the Pirate Coffee House. Look forward to having your team come again. Jeff and Linda
Perfect Family Retreat
Perfect Family Retreat
We had 20 people in our group. The house easily accommodated everyone. The pictures do not do the house justice. There's a lot more open space for people to visit and relax then I expected. The game room was a big hit. The owners are very easy to work with. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils.

I stayed at this house with 4 other families for my in law's 45th wedding anniversary. They asked for the family to go to the beach instead of a party. This house was perfect for us. The kids had a great time and it never felt crowded. The kitchen is well stocked and the owners great to work with. Told my dad about the house and he might use it for his work's retreat. Thank you!

Owner response: Thank you so glad your family was able to celebrate your in law's anniversary all together. Spending time with family is so important. We have a big family also. Please come back again, and thanks for the referral to your dad. Jeff and Linda
The Reunion House more than met our expectations for a quality place to hold our family reunion. We highly recommend it for the gathering of a large group. Jeff and Linda Haar were very helpful in making our stay as pleasant as possible and responded quickly to our questions. We appreciated their personal interest. The facility was more than adequate for our group of 17 family members ranging in age from three months to 75 years. The house was very clean and well cared for. The new wireless internet service was helpful and used by many of our group. The location in Depot Bay provides easy access to beaches, ocean fishing, shopping in both Lincoln City and Newport. Restaurants in Newport such as Georgies and Chowder Bowl provide excellent service and great seafood. Aquariums, lighthouses, and other attractions are also nearby and were great experiences for adults as well as the children.

Sharp clean accomodations

The cost was a great deal considering the rooms and the space. The accomodations were ideal for our retreat, and we plan on renting the house again. The only negative (why I gave four rather than five stars) is the lack of wireless internet (which a guest can solve by bringing their own router; it's just inconvenient). Other than that, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to staying there again!

Owner response: Thank you so much and we are happy to hear you had a good time. Yes, the wireless is a must and plan to to that in the next couple of months. Look forward to having you again. Jeff and LInda Haar
Every one was pleasantly surprised as they arrived at the Reunion House. The house was very clean and had a pleasant smell. Our group number was nine as some were unable to attend at last minute. Up stairs turned out to be the main hangout as this bunch of baby boomers tried to out do each other on the pool table. some tried the ping pong table, but really the action was too fast! We had decided to do only one dinner meal as we were not sure how well stocked the kitchen would be with pots and pans. We did however realize the kitchen was more than ample to cook in. Late evening cocktails downstairs in front of the fireplace was a very popular place for some There was internet available but we all missed our wireless access. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable, bedding and linens including bath towles are all in like new condition. Happy Campers!

Reunion House a real winner!
Reunion House a real winner!
We held a large family gathering for Christmas at the Reunion House and were quite pleased with everything! There is good space, amenities, many private bathrooms and a great play area upstairs. It was clean and had everything we needed for all of us - ages ranging from 3 to 75! This house would be a great place for couples retreats, large families or two-four families on vacation. Definitely recommend the walk to town, as it is not too far. The owners are great communicators- timely and helpful. We sure enjoyed working with them! This is a place we can easily recommend!
