The home sits on 35 acres with a private beach in your back yard on the Fox River Inlet where you can launch your kayak or canoe and quickly be at the ocean.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility on the 3 sided wrap around porch where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee and also in the evenings be shaded while you BBQ and eat outdoors. The private beach is just a small walk to your back yard where the same can be enjoyed. The home also has a south facing sun room for those who prefer to enjoy the beautiful weather while still inside.
The home is less than 1 km from the village where all amenities can be found, 2 km from the local public beach , 18 kms from the ferry to Nova Scotia, and 20 kms from Montague.
The village has an amazing casual restaurant, the fishing pier, library, churches, craft shop.
You can access the Confederation Trail right across the street from our home. This is a great way to spend a day walking or bicycling. You can bicycle from tip of island to tip of island on this trail spending time shopping and sight seeing in the many destinations along the way.
A short drive and you will be at the well known Cape Bear lighthouse as well as several other lighthouses in the area. You are also a short drive away to beautiful golf courses, provincial parks, wineries, and beautiful beaches.
This home is a dream vacation for a couple looking for a private get away or a family seeking some adventure.

While the house and surrounding garden is very nice and well equipped, we think the writeup misrepresents the waterfront/beach. The water is down an unimproved track over 1/2 mile in length. It is passable w/ 4 wheel drive or a truck but not a sedan. At the end, there is no path to the water. The beach is very small and only present during low tide. You could launch a kayak but it is not an area where you could sit on the beach or the kids could play. There are very nice beaches near by but not on the property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
