Located in the Lower Garden District, this shotgun double that was built over 100 years ago, is in an ideal location. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Magazine St., the charm and streetcar on St. Charles Ave., the museums of the Warehouse/Arts District and even the Convention Center. With close proximity to the CBD, French Quarter, Superdome and Uptown neighborhoods, you are in the middle of it all.
The 2 BR 2 bath house is fully furnished. There is a Queen bed and a Full. Also available are 2 twin inflatables. The house includes a 40' LCD HDTV with DirecTV and Wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle any meal if you choose to dine in. There is a new high efficiency washer and dryer and even an old fashioned claw foot soaking tub.
The house is a shotgun double with the owner, me, living in one side. I love this house and location. On the weekends I rarely have to get in my car to go anywhere. I have a few bikes and I believe it is the best way to get around, no parking! Going to sporting events, day drinking in the French Quarter and many different concert venues are just a short peddle form the house. I am looking to purchase 2 new bikes for the rental side and will have them available for your pleasure. Come and enjoy the best city in the world...in my opinion.

The house is great - spacious, comfortable and plenty of room for four adults. We came for Jazz Fest and it was in a great location and easily accessible to all parts of the City. The added perk of the bikes was fantastic as we were able to bike around on very stylish cruisers. I only hope I can rent here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The house is a great! My parents, sister and I stayed here for 4 nights and it is a great place to explore New Orleans. The house has a vintage feel wtih loads of character and is quite roomy. The front patio is a nice place to have a beer or coffee and the two bathrooms are great because we could spread the crew out. Public transit is easy to navigate and we walked to the quarter everyday (about 25 minutes). It was a very safe neighbourhood, and Charlie and (especially) his sweet partner - who we did even get her name - were very helpful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

I just recently had my bachelor perty here and it was great! I highly recommend staying here if you want something close by that has a great New Orleans feel. Great Neighborhood, felt very safe.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a funky, fun house which gave us a good idea of what what it would be like to live in New Orleans. There was a great neighborhood feel to things. The owner, who lives next door, was helpful, loaning us kitchen equipment. The location is great, close to bus lines and easy walking distance.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We recently stayed at this property for my bday weekend with another couple and it was fabulous! It was in the perfect location & had great decor for the price. This house is charming and perfect for 4 people or 2 couples ; it's very well located, near almost everything in New Orleans.
