This lovely house was a great place to explore Pine Mountain Lake and Groveland. We were excited to find the trail at Big Creek, which is a 3-minute drive down the road from the house. Our dogs loved it! Yosemite Valley is about a one-hour drive away, but it took us longer because we stopped at every vista point. Beautiful. The owners are very responsive and the place is terrific. My family stayed here in September and had a great time. This cabin was very clean and had right amenities. We brought our bikes for riding in Yosemite so having a garage was very nice. I highly recommend spending time at the lake which was surprisingly warm for us. I thought it would be much colder. We also enjoyed the community pool and horse stables.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Initially little cautious, we booked this place from pmlvacations.com. We were pleasantly surprised that the lodge was a spacious private house with hotel-like service. Everything we could think of was available there. Favorit room - summer room. We were staying for a week and I had to work. The summer room was perfect setup - I enjoyed the view, the weather and full WiFi connection. (there's no digital signal anywhere in Groveland otherwise). Bedrooms location in the opposite wings of the house gave us a full privacy from the other couple we vacationed with. BBQ on the deck and hiking along a few trails right around the house was priceless! Pine Mountain Lake is a gorgeous place with stunning mountain views beautiful lake and huge trees, yet within 5 min drive from high quality restaurants and bars and even a full service grocery store. We are going there again as soon as we find availability - Little Beaver Lodge seem to be very popular now. I guess we are not the only lucky once to find this place. Highly recommendRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, his cousin visiting from Germany, and I stayed at the Little Beaver Lodge during our trip to Yosemite. None of us had ever been there and didn't really know where to stay or what to do. All I knew is that everyone says you have to book your stay in Yosemite many months in advance. We didn't have that luxury, so my aunt suggested we look to stay in Groveland, about an hour drive from Yosemite Valley. I am so glad she did! I immediately got on vrbo.com and found Little Beaver Lodge. Luckily our dates were available and the owner responded very quickly to my request for information. She sent me very detailed information and directions about LBL and Groveland. We had about a 2.5 hour drive to LBL and when we arrived, were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the Pine Mountain Lake area. LBL is approx .7 miles from the lake, which I found to be a great walk! When we arrived, we found a spotlessly clean, well maintained property, with all the necessities for our quick, 2 night stay. LBL comes equipped with a gas bbq, which we used both nights. The kitchen is large and and super easy to work in. All the dishes and utensils we could need were provided. The dining table was great for playing games after dinner. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are SO clean, which is always nice! The water is hot and the shower head was powerful, just like home! The decor is very inviting, clean and tasteful. (On a side note: On our last day as we were leaving Groveland, we stopped at the Sage Mountain Nursery for coffee. I would highly recommend checking it out! So beautiful, great coffee/tea drinks and great staff!) I can't say enought good things about Little Beaver Lodge. You can really tell that the owner put a lot of thought and love into making it a great place for vacationers. My husband fell in love with LBL and Pine Mountain Lake and we may have found a new summer tradition!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
