  We just got back home from our stay at Charlie's Cabana and are already talking about when we can go back! To begin, the property is exactly as described. The whole condo has been updated and is decked out top to bottom with modern finishes. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all of the utensils, pots and pans, etc that one would need to cook a large meal (we cooked a couple of times for our group of 4 adults and had everything we needed and more!) Most beach condos we have stayed at have tile floors throughout but Charlie's Cabana has carpet which adds a very nice, warm touch making the condo feel more like home. There are two large bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and TVs in each room. The living space is awesome! Having the flat screen with the Wii and Netflix gave us something to do on one of the days that the weather wasn't conducive to lounging on the beach. Our 1 and 1/2 year old daughter had fun playing with the basket of kid toys next to the couch. The balcony off of the back was a great place to sit and drink a cup of coffee (from the Kuerig coffeemaker...seriously what other condo you've looked at so far has one of these?!) in the mornings. Lastly the beach is super close. We walked to it one evening after dinner and it took less than 5 minutes with a toddler. The beach itself was nice; not very crowded, fine sand, and clean. We would also be remiss if we didn't mention how nice the Sinn's were to deal with. We actually booked our trip and mistakenly thought we had the condo for an extra day. The Sinn's actually allowed us to stay in the condo the extra day we mistakenly thought was ours while they made other arrangements for themselves. If that doesn't show their dedication to the rental experience we don't know what does! From the welcome bottle of wine, to the binder of recommendations for local attractions, this truly has been our best experience with any VRBO rental. We highly recommend Charlie's Cabana!

  The Cabana was amazing.... I have stayed on the Island several times, this was by far the best place! Clean, nicely decorated, and perfect location. We could not have asked for a better stay for a quick trip to the coast.

  We were able to stay at Charlies Cabana for a fabulous mother daughter mid-week vacation! The condo was warm and inviting; better than home! It rained the majority of our stay, however, we still had a fabulous time despite the rain! The unit itself has everything you need; games, wifii, netflix and was super cozy! The onsite workout facility was better than expected and was not at all crowded when we went! The complex does an excellent job of maintaining the property and it is beautifully done! It's walking distance to the beach and very close to everything you need! There's amazing restaraunts nearby which we were able to find by looking in the helpful basket of info the owners left about the island! We had such a great time! We are already planning our next trip to Charlie's Cabana! Thanks Chuck and Lisa!!!

  First off let me say that I am a Winter Texan… I come to Texas for 3 or more months a year during the winter… this is the 3rd condo I have stayed in on North Padre over the years and it is one of the best. The description that Lisa has written is as accurate as you can make it... this is a wonderful Condo for singles, couples or a family. I have been here since the middle of January and won't be leaving until the middle of April and I only wish I could stay longer. When we first got here there was an issue with the internet service and it was handled immediately and service was restored within a day. Then we had a water issue when the unit above sprang a leak from the washing machine and that was handled immediately… with no complaints in either case and nothing against the condo… stuff happens. There isn’t much more to add as the description say’s it all… it should be noted however that the unit is on the second floor and that there are no elevators. Thanks Sinn Family for making your Condo available for folks to rent… If I come back to North Padre in the future you will be at the top of my list of places to stay.

  Hello Lisa: We enjoyed the stay at "Charlie's Cabana" immensely! It was perfect for our little get-away. We only wished we had another week to spend there. We were familiar with the complex as we had visited looking for units being sold back in August. The proximity to everything and the amenities were just what we were looking for. The condo itself was beautiful and the only problem we had was figuring out the thermostat. We plan on making 2-3 trips there each year and when we are ready to return we will be checking back with you again. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us! Andy

  Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Charlie's Cabana. There were so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home (such as comfortable beds, nice linens, charming decor). Being native Texans, we have stayed in the Port Aransas and Corpus Christi area on many occassions and Charlie's Cabana was definitely our favorite.

  Every thing was easy and as expected, clean, tidy and well laid out. Great value. Only few notable but not negatives, but room for improvement comments - 1. there are no big kitchen knives. 2. The carpet in the suit collects the little barbed vegetation brought in at times with your shoes and are pain ful to step on with bare feet. Not at all fault of the unit, but when time comes to replace the carpet, hardwood floors would be better than carpet. 3. The BBQs near the pool area use charcoal and do not have propane. Just add charcoal it to your shopping list before you arrive or you'll not be able to use the BBQs. 4. We were from Canada and found the water to have overly chemical flavour and opted for botteld water to make coffee and ice. Just personal preference, ice maker is the fridge worked fine for cooler ice. 5. Public WIFI at the pool needs a different password than in the suite. I asked a local as it was not able to determine what it was in the documentation. (Ask the management people when you check in) Telephone in the suite is handy to make local calls. Management company is very close by and beach is a 5-7 walk away. Pool was well keep. Every thing worked and there was no issues with the unit overall very nice and would stay there again in the future with out hesitation.

Once the carpet starts to wear we will be replacing it with a smooth surface, most likely tile, but we just couldn't stomach ripping out brand new flooring since we spent quite a bit of money completely remodeling & furnishing the unit. *We went the extra mile to add private wi-fi to Charlie's Cabana. Beach Club only has wi-fi available at the pool at & gazebo. We really appreciate you letting us know that Beach Club wi-fi requires password. We will get the password from mgmt and start giving it to our guests. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you come back & visit us again! Chuck & Lisa

  My husband, 4 children and I had the most AMAZING weekend at Charlie's Cabana. If you are accustom to your home with granite counters and lush interiors, then you will feel at home here. The sheets are super soft, and the bed is so comfy. We had net flix and a wii to take advantage of as well. Flat screens in each bedroom and living room, and toys for our 2 year old to play with. We LOVED having our Kurieg coffee on the balcony and listening to the waves. A walk to the beach we found the sand that was thick and soft as flour. The waves were perfect and the water was nice and warm. If you wake early enough (8-9am) you can comb the beach and find san dollars. We found about 75 of them. My kids also held an adult sea horse and 2 baby sea horses. The beach had very few people on it and my children had a free surf lesson and they let them use a really nice boogie board for free. You can walk to the beach, but there is also a free parking lot about 1/3 of a mile away that has showers too. I can not say enough great things about Charlie's Cabana! BEST PLACE EVER!!!

  What a great 3 day weekend we had staying at Charlie's Cabana! Plenty of room for the four of us...with room to spare actually! The linens and towels were 5 star quality and that was such a nice surprise. Although we ate out every meal, the kitchen was fully equiped to whip up a full meal. Having a full size washer and dryer was also great as you know how things get so dirlty at the beach. The condo was decorated so beautifully it was hard to leave it! But our favorite spot was probably the huge pool and hot tub on site. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing your place with us and we will defintely be back again!

  I just want to say that this vacation home has it all. It is a beautiful place and well maintained by the owners. This will be our vacation stay from now on. We felt completely at home and the home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything a person could want or need. I do refer to this as a home because it feels like being at home. We had an incident with my dog and it was handled very professionally by the owners as well as the management staff. Thank you so much for a comfortable home to enjoy our vacation.
