Gentlemen and ladies if Walleye fishing is your fancy I am an fluent angler, and the fish i put in your hands will be __ well awesome, we will put them back though. Pictures tell a thousand words. Every detail has been thought of on this property, almost like it was a 5 star hotel run by professionals. Marko and Mona are fantastic hosts, and even better people. My girlfriend and I walked away with two new friends. Thanks for a great Labor Day guys!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed this professionally decorated lakeshore loft as well as a lake tour with the hosts. Their hospitality was amazing as were the food, beverages, and information provided. The wonderful, well-kept grounds include a large gas grill, swing, and fire pit. The lake is easy to navigate and we caught fish as well. Thank you for a relaxing, fun vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I know the listing says "Weekends on Whitefish" but my wife and I (together with our dog) just spent a wonderful week in the loft. The loft is great for a couple alone or with small children. The property is beautiful, right on the lake with a wonderful swim and boat dock with table, umbrella, chairs and a place to tie up your boat. The area has wonderful restaurants--a number accessible by boat---and if you catch some bad weather there is a nearby movie theater and shops in Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Nisswa. Our hosts, Mark and Mona were great--warm, hospitable and helpful. The only potential issue---although not for us--was there was no stove when we stayed. We didn't miss having one.Owner response: Mike and patty were great guests. It's nice to have such nice people to entertain. Mike and patty are professional people from the Chicago area and were such nice people. I look forward for their return one day, or people of the same quality.

About the owner: Mona and I (Marko) have owned our home here in Minnesota since 1993. We rebuilt the little cabin in 2007. We made it our home for our three children Tanya, Ryan and Brittany. Our children have all grown up here and have memories they will never forget!
