This is our second time staying here and as before it was an excellent choice. The owners are very nice and so is the condo. The condo is well equipped and has a home feel to it. We visited relatives all over Montreal and love the location because of its close proximity to Downtown and the Airport but also it's quiet neighborhood location. We will be returning again. Merci beaucoup et au revoir!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you very much for the nice comments . It is our goal to try to have our customers feeling at home during their stay. We are always happy too see customers coming back .

While visiting Montreal for the holidays my family and I were looking for a place to stay for an extended period of time and Louise and Claude's home was the perfect answer. Complete with cable, internet, dishes, cookware, towels, sheets, washer and dryer we were able to spend our vacation in privacy and comfort. It was also an ideal location 5 minutes from access to downtown and highways. Rent with peace of mind at this location!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Very nice and clean apartment, everything works as advertised. Very nice and very friendly owners. Relaxed suburb atmosphere, yet very easy and fast ride by car or metro to downtown Montreal. If you don't cook your own breakfast in the well equipped kitchen go to Meme Tartine on Verdun (close to Verdun metro station) for fresh croissants. In the evening go to nearby Parc de Rapides on Lasalle. I just dropped off my kid a McGill, will be back to show Montreal to the rest of the family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in the Verdun neighborhood. The apartment is very clean, nicely furnished, and has a homey feel. The kitchen is very modern with new applicances and is fully stocked with everything one could possibly need for cooking, including staple items such as sugar, coffee, spices, etc. We especially enjoyed having breakfast and coffee on the back patio. During our stay, the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. If you are a runner or biker, you will enjoy the close proximity to the extensive set of trails in the park along the bank of the St. Lawrence River (about 1/2 mile away). There are also very nice neighborhood tennis courts just around the corner. We went into downtown Montreal both by car and using public transit. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive downtown. If you prefer public transit, there is also a subway stop about 10-15 minutes walking distance away (Station Jolicoeur). There is plenty of parking available around the apartment, but mind the signs because parking may not be allowed on a certain day of the week during specific hours (so you may have to move the car across the street). The owners were very friendly, and should you have issues with the apartment, they are very close by. Overall, a great stay and a great value.Did you find this review helpful? This apartment was really well furnished and spacious (it has two patios!), with wifi and a nice TV, and it was really excellent for the price. The only downside is that the apartment is in the Verdun neighborhood, and while it's a really nice neighborhood with plenty of stores, the apartment is still a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station (though there are bus stops nearby) and another twenty or twenty five minute metro/bus ride to downtown. However, the quality of the apartment still makes it definitely worth the somewhat far away location.Owner response: Thank you for your comments, just need to clarify that unless you live right downtown, it is pretty hard to be in a closer neighborhood .The bus stop is a one minute walk, 85 meters, 5 minutes by bus to the metro station. By car, 10 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes from all major expressways junctions for the #10-15-20-40 .& # 720 that cross Montreal downtown from Est to West.
