After years of going to Delaware, this is the first year we have stayed on the beach! The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful! It is a great location and after the season the beach is deserted which was perfect for us. The house is dog friendly and the large family room made it perfect for us to spread out! It was clean and the views are excellent! I mostly enjoyed my sunrise walks with the dogs on the beach! Also not too far from the outlets and great food nearby! Easy to find as well. We definitely will rent again in 2013!!!Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+, sightseeing.

We just came back from a weekend here. What a charming place this is despite the funky 70's decor. I have yet to meet anyone more critical than I am about decor, and I did find myself doing the usual redecorating / renovating in my head routine. But after opening up all the windows and letting in the gentle salty breezes and pounding surf of the Atlantic, after watching porpoises swim by from the kitchen window and later, laying down on one of the most perfect decks I've seen this side of the Atlantic, (greenery and ocean in front, gorgeous pines on the sides) all the questionable decorating choices not only didn't matter anymore, they somehow added to the charm. The beach here is just beautiful, expansive and not crowded for a mile on each side. We have rented in Bethany for decades, and this is, without a doubt, our new favorite.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

Oceanfront home with a private, guarded beach. I could leave it at that and one would likely be motivated to jump at the opportunity to rent immediately! I stayed with my kids as well as extended family, had a great stay with plenty of room to be on our own if we wanted to. The accomodations are comfortable, the landlord is user-friendly and a pleasure to work with. Oh, did I mention it was oceanfront with a private, guarded beach? I highly recommend and am renting the home again during Summer 2013.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had the opportunity to stay at Sea Del toward the end of August. The owners of the property were very friendly, easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. The house is ocean front and we very much enjoyed being serenaded by the ocean each morning and night. The location could not have been better - a short bike ride into the town center, a life guard stand right by the house and a nice quiet family focused neighborhood. We found Sea Del to be a very open and roomy space for our family to relax in and look forward to returning again!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We absolutely enjoyed staying here! We woke up every morning to a sunrise and view of the ocean. Kitchen fully equipped, comfortable living arrangements and close proximity to downtown Bethany.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
