Enjoy our charming 4 bedroom 2 bath comfortable home for your perfect Malibu holiday. Surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and centrally located mid Malibu only minutes in either direction to all the area has to offer. Located 2 blocks from the the Pacific Ocean and a 3 minute golf cart ride to the sand of Latigo Shores and Escondido Beach. Featuring open beam ceilings, wood floors, and walls of French doors that open onto patio space. Dine under the stars with mountain views and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A five minute drive will take you to the Cross Creek shopping area which also features the new Malibu Lumber Yard. The Lumber Yard is filled with trendy restaurants and stores. It is also a hang out for local celebrities.
Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are provided with your stay. Kayaking the kelp beds as well as surf/paddleboard lessons or board rentals can also be arranged . Enjoy hikes on Point Dume, lunch at Paradise Cove, or visit nearby Escondido Falls. A short drive takes you to Malibu's wine trail for tastings from our local and regional vineyards. Whether you are an outdoors enthusiast, a beach comber, or food and fashion connoisseur the option's are endless.
When you are ready to venture out of paradise you are only 35-40 minutes to Hollywood, and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Venice Beach and Santa Monica are just a 20 to 25 minute drive along the Pacific Coast Highway.

I could not figure out how to delete my previous review of this property, so I am writing another to clear up some issues I had mentioned before that have been taken care of by the owner. Those issues have been resolved and I am changing my rating to 4 stars!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The location of this home is great, very secluded and a beautiful backyard. There is a hot tub but was not working when we were there, so if that is important to you I would ask if it is operating yet. There are 4 bedrooms with very nice bedding and comfortable beds. The kitchen was very cozy and a great place for all to gather, as is the living room. There were 2 televisions, but we could only get one to work. The sound system/dvd player, was impossible to figure out so didn't get to watch the movies we had planned on. Also, the first bedroom on the right has a door that locks from the inside and does not have a key, or at least we couldn't find one. Someone pulled the door shut, not knowing, to keep the dog out of the bedroom, and we were locked out. The property manager asked if we could wait till morning, however the couple in that room had all of their stuff in there. She suggested breaking the window if we had to, however it was pitch dark out and we couldn't find a flashlight anywhere. Plus no one would want to sleep in there with the window broken. We called a locksmith and got it unlocked and we paid him $180 and left the bill, however it has been a month and have not heard a word about being reimbursed for that. I was also not impressed with the level of cleanliness. I opened the freezer when we got there to put some food in it and there was a disgusting orange substance all over the bottom and it took a good half hour to get it all cleaned out. But all in all it was a very comfortable place for old friends to hang out. There are some great wineries in the area and good info at the house about that.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This home is the perfect getaway for family or friends, whether your coming from out of town or are just getting out of L.A. for a few days. It's tucked back in a secluded drive, with a beautiful lawn, patio, and hot tub. It's also close to a great seafood restaurants, the beach, and hiking - but once you've settled into the house, you may not want to go out at all. Really great experience, thank you!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
