While planning a visit to the North Carolina Mountains, we searched for somewhere that was family friendly, exciting, and peaceful. Upon finding this "jewel" near Beech Mountain, we could not have been more pleased. It was the perfect place and it is somewhere that we will frequent again, in all seasons. The views are spectacular! The condo itself is nothing less than awesome. It has been well maintained, has all the comforts of home, and the decore is fabulous! There was plenty of room for everyone (a family of 5) and the grounds are clean and kept up. The inside pool was a plus for the children, as it is nice after a day of skiing to come back and relax in. The owners went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was one that we would remember. We are looking forward to visiting again in the fall! With Grandfather Mountain right around the corner, how could we possibly go wrong! If you are looking for a great place to stay, that makes you feel like you are welcom and at home, this is your place! I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a peaceful vacation by either skiing in the winter, enjoying the cool mountain air of the summer, or seeing the beautiful leaves of the fall. No matter what time of year you are planning your getaway, this is the spot for you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We purchased this condo as a place for our family to enjoy on the weekends and vacation. We aren't sure who loves it more: us or our kids.
Why the Owner Chose Beech Mountain:
Beech Mountain is breath-taking year-round, and the cooler summer temperatures make us want to spend as much time as possible at this condo. This is a gated community, within walking distance to many of the town's restaurants and Fred's General Store. The indoor pool is perfect for daily swims year-round, and we love that there are so many activities on the grounds of the resort to enjoy. We love that there is so much to do locally for the family all year long.
