Just got back from a long weekend at the cabin and had an amazing time! We knew it was going to be nice- but it was so much more than we imagined. Everyone had a blast sledding and tubing down the driveway and we brought 4wheelers which was great to ride back to the top. The house has the best view in the entire valley and it just surrounds you. Every room was comfortable and very clean and still new. The master shower was a hit and the kids loved the jacuzzi tub! We went to the hot springs 3min away, skiing, and just relaxed and no one wanted to leave. Dawn was wonderful to work with and very sweet. It was great having a phone up there and internet so we could check on things back home- like the dog sitter. It was very hard to concentrate when we went back to work because we were still "back at the cabin" ;) We will be back for sure and have lots of friends who have looked at our trip pictures wanting to go themselves. Seriously- the perfect place to get-away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I escaped to this paradise for a long weekend and everything was perfect. The cabin itself is gorgeous and you can tell the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this a special place. We explored all around the valley with so many things to do we could have spent a week trying new things. The owners were kind and really wanted to make sure we were going to have a great time! We have decided to plan a trip back with friends we just can't decided if we should go in the fall to see the wonder fall colors or wait tell winter so we can hit the ski hill! Thanks again! byron and kellyRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Our family was raised in Dillon, MT and consisted of two loving parents, three boys and one daughter. Our father operated his own real estate and insurance company for 15+ years in Montana and our mother managed a local news paper. Fast forward a lot of great years and all of us kids are married and starting are own families, the oldest son lives in Bozeman Mt, has one boy and operates an insurance company. Two of us kids live in Salt Lake City Ut, we are both happly married my older bother has two boys and a daughter and he also works in real estate development, Im the youngest sibling at 24 and have been married for two years I also work in real estate. My sister lives in Los Angeles and just recently got married she to works in real estate. As you can see our family really likes real estate and we learned a lot about it growing up from our father. A year ago our dad was diagnosed with brain cancer and after a long fight just recently passed away. My sister came up with the idea to rent the cabin and we have had a great response from guests! We thought it would be great to share our cabin and homes with other families since we only get together a handful of times a year we wanted to let other families enjoy our vacation homes as much as we do!
Why the Owner Chose Dillon:
It has always been a dream for my family to have a property in Grasshopper Valley. Its true paradise!! You will never run out of things to do - it offers some of the best trout fishing along with gorgeous hiking trails and mountain biking. To downhill and cross country skiing, snow boarding and snowmobiling in the Winter. It has it all!! Its also close to Elkhorn Hot springs where you can go swimming or close to Crystal Park where you can go digging for crystals. If you feel like just relaxing then the cabin is a great place to to put your feet up and not do much of anything but enjoy life. Relax in one of the jetted tubs or watch a movie on the 50 inch flatscreen, or get some sun on the 1500 sqft of deck the wraps around the entire second floor offering views unlike another in the valley. At night take the kids down to the lower level and roast march mellows around the built in fire pit.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The cabin is located in a prime development with only 4 other homes currently built and with a total of only 8 lots. Each lot was carefully planned and designed around the views of the area, each lot/home owner can build there dream home and it will not interrupt the views from any other homeowner, this was possible because each lot is a min of 3 acres and the rest of the land is all common ground that will never be built on. Since our family developed the land we were able to choose what we thought was the prime location and everyone that visits the cabin agrees that it has the best views of any cabin in the valley! We hope that you can enjoy our cabin as much as our family has.
