The minute we walked into this condo. we knew we chose well. The location was perfect! I don't know if we've ever stayed at a place that was this close to the water before. It was so nice to hear the waves all day long right outside our doorstep. The wraparound patio was perfect for the babies on the trip to play and walk around....also a great place for sunning, dining, and relaxation! (We were traveling with a 1yr. old and 6mo. old) Key Colony Point was a nice and quiet location. We would come back here in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. The Condo was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with all we would ever need. We just purchased our groceries for the week and were set. We brought our own fishing poles, but there was fishing tackle in the closet, along with a few beach toys. My two boys enjoyed fishing and swimming. The Key Colony Beach Marina was really close too and we booked a wonderful snorkel tour with "A Deep Blue Dive" and a half day fishing with "Main Attraction". My son caught a 40 lb barracuda! It was the perfect size for the four of us. I would recommend this condo not only for the accommodations, but also for the perfect location in the keys to do many fun activities.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is a beautiful condo with the most amazing views and proximity to the water. Going to bed with the sound if the sea was spectacular. The terrace beckons you to sit out all day and contemplate never leaving. The pool area was very nice, also. Key Colony Beach is a wonderful area and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood to restaurants nearby. We would recommend this condo to all and would love to return ourselves.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We stayed at the property with our three children ages 2, 5, and 7. The location was nice and quiet and located in the "middle" of the Keys so we could easily drive either way for different activities. The property was spotless upon arrival (and I am picky) and has obviously been updated from the bathrooms to the kitchen. We spent every afternoon at the pool which was well maintained and not crowded. Overall, a wonderful experience!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Absolutly Amazing!!!! The location was excellent on the edge of a point with Incredible views out both sides of wide open condo. I was beathtaken from the moment I walked into the room. the pictures were nice but actually being their was Unbelievable. for once in my life the actuall place well exceeded my expectations. I loved just sitting on the huge deck and just looking at the ocean watching boats go by. So quiet and peaceful I never wanted to leave!!! The people were really friendly. the pool was wonderful overlooking the ocean and water temperature just perfect. The property was very well maintained. The only negative I can even think of would be I wish it was a better price so I could come back again and again. Overall I feel in love with the place and will hopefully return again!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALLOWING US TO SHARE YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My wife & I were looking for a tropical vacation, but didn't really care to go through multiple international airports, customs and immigration, etc. Key Largo looked great but a little too close to the mainland. Key West looked interesting, but too busy and touristy for a whole week. We chose to stay in the Marathon area so that we could be centrally located and easily travel to the upper and lower Keys. Worked out really well. Plenty of activities like scuba, fishing, state parks and resturants. Fabulous place. Exactly as billed & better. The pictures of the resort were spot-on. Very nicely appointed. We've stayed at many tropical condos/resorts and the furniture at those places are the typical casual furnishings. This place has very plush and comfortable furniture. Leather couches and chairs, formal dinning room table, etc. The condo has granite floors & heavy tile accents. Top of the line all the way. The condo is plenty big with a very open floor plan. This 2nd floor rental is on the corner of the building. The wrap-around deck is huge. The open ocean is closer than a stone's throw from the deck. Many Florida Key sites advertise themselves as being "on the water", but they're really on a canal with no view of the ocean. This site is the real deal. Ocean view from all the picture windows. The resort has a tennis court, nice (large) pool, hot tub, fishing pier, sandy beaches and lounge chairs. The condo has everything you might need. Well appointed to make the stay easy as ever to include cooking utensils, appliances, hair driers, etc. We used our rental car to reach all the activities available in the Keys. Spent just enough time in Key West to see it, feel it, taste it and get out of it. KW is a fun place to visit, but glad we didn't make a week of it. To be honest there were a few things that we not what we expected. The ocean at the resort was not as clear as we wanted. Snorkeling at the place had low visibility. Maybe it was the water conditions at the time of the year. The community gas grill didn't have the lava coals that help produce the grilled flavor we were looking for. Bought fresh lobster tails for grilling. I'm pretty good at grilling, but without the coals, there wasn't much flavor. We didn't have a direct view of the sunset from our condo. They were doing repair/upkeep work (which we knew was to occur during our stay). Would recommend avoiding that time period. Even w/ all those little things, we'd highly recommend the place.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent 1 week at this beautiful Condo and did not want to leave. It has everything we needed for a relaxing time. We traveled with 2 children and grand-parents and it never felt crowded. The Condo has amazing Ocean Views from almost everywhere you are. The interior is very upscale but feels cozy at the same time. The beds are super comfortable. We spent the most time on the large wrap-around balcony, which has comfortable Lounge Furniture as well as Dining Furniture for a Dinner with an amazing ocean view. We have never "lived" that close to the water... you feel like you can just jump in. There are Restaurants and Coffee Shops close by if you do not want to cook. The location is great and close to Shopping. Our children enjoyed the Beach and the Pool, which is right next to the ocean. A great evening activity was Fishing at the Dock within the property. The set-up was perfect for our little fishermen... a sink w/running water, lights in the water as well as on the Dock, a knife, fish measuring device. ..and more. We also played Tennis on the nice Tennis Court belonging to the complex. We highly recommend this Condo and hope to be able to return soon ourselves :-)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: OooooAhhhh! Thank you for the outstanding review... glad y'all had such a great time! Jim H.

Upon arriving at your condo, it was a WOW!! The manager, was most helpful, explaining all the outside amenities. The pool, parking, tennis courts, etc. Having the luggage cart is a plus, one trip in was great. The best way to describe your beautiful condo... it is breath taking, luxurious, elegant, and exuberant. Comfortable, everything you need and want. All in its place. Beautifully furnished and decorated. It is convenient to all of Marathon, with so many nice places to eat. We have so enjoyed our stay here. Hope we can come back... never would we find a place as nice and comfortable with such a panoramic magnificent view... Pure delight!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

We arrived on a Thursday morning. The condo was clean and ready for us. The view of the ocean and full wrap around balcony was totally amazing! Sit and relax- inside or out!!! The condo is full of all the amenities from home! And- the beds were wonderfully comfortable! The decor is true Florida Keys- the walls match the beautiful ocean view! Huge bar/island kitchen ready for a cook! 2 full baths (huge) and a powder room. Walk to the beach or lounge at the pool- its paradise everywhere! Perfect for families (young or older kids) or anyone that wants a great place to relax!!! Great fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, critter watching - NEVER A BORING MINUTE- unless you choose to do nothing!!!! Highly recommend!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We’ve wintered in the Keys on our motor yacht for the past 9-years. When we give up yachting, our Key Colony Point condo will become our home. Until then it is available year round and guests will benefit from a corner-sited condo with spectacular wrap around beachfront and ocean views, which is furnished and equipped as a personal home.
Why the Owner Chose Key Colony Beach:
Escape from your everyday demands, hustle, and bustle, to our island paradise. With turquoise seas lapping at our private beach just below the balcony, the view is indescribably delicious! Warning… napping on the balcony is contagious!
In addition to on-premise tennis court, heated swimming pool, hot tub, and fishing pier, Key Colony’s Sunset Beach is located just next door. With several restaurants within walking distance, the Key Colony Beach community is user-friendly for walking, jogging, and biking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Snorkel off our beach; build sand castles, swim, hot tub, play tennis, or fish from our private pier… all on premise and just steps away! Overlooking the ocean, the beautiful heated swimming pool is surrounded by manicured gardens. Your stay will be like a dream come true as you drift off to the sound of the ocean and awake to beautiful sunrises and the calls of seagulls.
Located midway between Key Largo and Key West, this idyllic island has 3 recreational parks, a 9-hole golf course, bike and jog paths, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, water jets, parasailing, a full service marina, a fleet of charter boats, and home of the best fishing in the Keys!! You will want to watch for the ‘green flash’ in our incredible sunsets and enjoy Sunday afternoon concerts from “Sunset Park” next door.
