We rented the townhome with another couple when we traveled to Aspen to watch the Xgames. We really enjoyed how close it is to downtown. A quick couple minute walk and you are right on Main Street by the Hotel Jerome. We close every day to not even take the bus but just to talk as it was so quick. We were very comfortable in the house and it had everything we needed. We ate out almost every meal but the kitchen is well equipped and the house is stocked with all of the linens you need. Nothing was better than waking up early in the am to see the ducks flying past the windows and our wonderful view of Aspen Mountain. House could have easily accommodated another couple or two kids as it is very spacious.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

DURING A LATE OCTOBER, FALL COLOR VISIT TO ASPEN WE STAYEDIN THIS COMFORTABLE, SPACIOUS AND WELL EQUIPPED TOWNHOME. WE HAD SOME SNOW TO BRIGHTEN THE MOUNTAIN PEAKS, BUT PLENTYOF SUNNY WEATHER. IT IS CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN BUT QUIET AND WITH FABULOUS MOUNTAIN VIEWS. IT HAS FREE BUS SERVICE 100 YARDS FROM THE FRONT DOOR. WE WOULD REBOOK ON OUR NEXT VISIT TO ASPEN IN ANY SEASON. ASPEN IS AN APPEALING TOWN FOR EVERYONE'S VACATION.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Our family stayed in this townhome for a quick weekend away. I had a competitive race to run, so my husband and children (5 and 2) would be on their own. The townhome was cosy and had all the things we needed for a young family. Even better, there were plenty of walking paths surrounding the home so that we didnt need to take the car out at all! My husband took the girls to ride the Aspen gondola, and the local bus to visit the Maroon Bells. The rec center was also within walking distance, so one afternoon was spent at the pool. We had a lovely time in this home, and look forward to staying again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This home is exactly what our group of friends was looking for. We cooked a big dinner every night, so having the grill outside and the kitchen open to a comfortable living room and dining room is perfect. Everyone is always able to be together without getting in anyones way. And the bedrooms are still private and comfortable and decorated beautifully. The other thing I love about the place is the location. This was my first stay in Aspen, so it was great to be able to take a short walk to all of the shops during the day, and the nice quiet bars the town has to offer at night. I would highly recommend renting this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 1990
About the owner: My siblings and I have taken the responsibility of converting a treasured family vacation home into a vacation rental. I am the primary contact and have a background in teaching Spanish. Hablo espanol. Nuestra casa es su casa! My brother is a graduate of CU and a commercial real estate consultant. We both reside in Oregon. Our older sister lives in Tacoma, WA.
Why the Owner Chose Hunter Creek:
We first vacationed in Aspen with family as kids. At the time we lived in SoCal. What a getaway this slice of paradise provided for us starting in the late 1970's! In 1990, our father purchased this home so that we could have a place to come to year after year. It became a sanctuary for our friends and family. And for the first time, we look forward to sharing it with you. The home is filled with fine Western Art collected over the years.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Other special features include:
* Views of world renowned Aspen Mountain
* Free Shuttle stop on street adjoining property
* Convenient to grocery store, shopping, parks, hiking and biking trails, fishing, restaurants, museums, concert and theater venues.
