Glorious views; lovely furnishings; helpful manager; a wonderful stay

We have now stayed twice at Casa Oceano, a week each stay. Each time our visit ended, we consulted our calendars to see when we might return. If it isn't paradise, it'll do until the real one comes along. Here, in no particular order, are the best features of the property: 1) Rosie, the in-town property manager: incredibly helpful both prior to and during the trip. Don't be shy about asking her advice. And take advantage of her willingness to stock up the refrigerator prior to your arrival (a small fee is involved--as well as the cost of the food, of course--but it's worth many times the price. 2) The view! The view! The view! Breakfast on the deck, overlooking the bay, might just last you the entire day, because why in the world would you want to leave? 3) The bedrooms and baths--very large, well-appointed, comfortable beds (and firm, for those of us with troublesome backs). 4) The kitchen: well organized, good supplies, nicely opens to the central living room/dining room. 5) Living room/dining room: incredibly bright and airy during the day (although during the day, why wouldn't you want to be on the deck?); the dining table is inviting and comfortable. 6) The pool: about a minute's walk from the house, also with a lovely view and comfortable outdoor furniture; we were alone there every time we went (this nice feature may, of course, be different if you visit at an extremely popular time, although we were there each time in January, which was fairly busy). 7) The maid staff--prompt, thorough, and although we had pitifully little Spanish and they had equally little English, things were communicated. Be sure to tip them--they earn it! 8) The Chopers (owners): Extremely helpful; they obviously love this home, and it reflects that love. 9) The town of San Jose: why would anyone would go West, towards Cabo San Lucas? San Jose is a lovely town to walk around in, with very good dining and (dare I say it?) shopping. Thanks to the Chopers for making our fantastic holiday possible.

After spending about 30 hours plus, searching the internet for the perfect place to stay in the Los Cabos area for myself and two girlfriends, I was fortunate enough to find your gorgeous villa, Casa Oceano. I came to Los Cabos to attend the three day wedding celebration of a dear friend at The One and Only Palmilla Resort. So, at approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of space, plus a large balcony, Casa Oceano was a fabulous value! Many times I have had experiences where the photos look great, and then when you see the actual lodging, you end up feeling disappointed. This was the exact opposite experience, myself and my two friends were absolutely delighted with the beauty of the villa, and the pristine privacy it provided us there. Everything about Casa Oceano was first class! The décor was absolutely classy and lovely. The floor plan was well thought out with the two master suites at opposite ends of the villa, thereby providing additional privacy for your renters. The mattress in my queen bedroom was also most comfortable. It's very hard for me to find a mattress I'm happy with when traveling. The mattress was excellent, plush, yet firm. I was truly impressed with the lovely upscale linens, and extra soft plush towels. I absolutely loved the magnificent bedspread on the queen bed; since it is a fine cotton with a tone on tone pattern, it was hard to see just how beautiful it is in the photos. The large balcony, complete with a gas grill, and sliders from the living room, and the two master suites, offered a wonderful unobstructed view of the Sea of Cortez and the city of San Jose Del Cabo. The location was great. And the private pool (open only to villa guests) was just a short walk from the villa. The three days of wedding events took place at various locations on the grounds of the resort; and all locations were an easy walk from the villa. In fact, I think the villa was actually located closer to most of the events, than some of the rooms at The One and Only. I must commend you too, on your great website; the pictures are terrific. For a detail oriented person such as myself, you can never have too many pictures on a website or too much information. The links associated with your website were also most helpful.
