Welcome to our condo at the Maui Banyan in South Kihei. We are situated at an ocean side location on the sunny southwest coast of Maui, directly across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island, Kamaole Beach Park II.
The Maui Banyan is a beautifully well maintained paradise resort condo with a tennis court, two swimming pools, soothing hot tubs and barbecues available for your use to sear your steak and Mahi Mahi after a full day of activities.
Our condo is available to meet your accommodation needs if you are seeking a 2 bedroom or 1 bedroom suite. If you are renting just the 1 bedroom, the other room will be locked off and remain empty during your stay. Our property features newly installed floors, granite counter tops, flat screen televisions and king beds. The One/Two bedroom suite includes washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. We also have smaller appliances available including toaster, blender and coffee maker. Free long distance calls to Canada and the United States provided. Free WIFI included in the in your stay with us.
Plenty of free parking is available on the grounds if you will be using a car. More beautiful beaches, shopping and restaurants are just a short walk away.

We felt right at home in this unit. There were 2 couples and we enjoyed our 10-day stay. The boogie board provided was fun in the afternoon when the waves were up. We utilized the in-suite washer/dryer and appreciated the full kitchen as we split between eating out and cooking in. The BBQ's on site were spotless! The grounds were well kept and the pathway to the beach was beautiful with flowers & trees (bougainvillea was in full bloom, bird of paradise was beautiful, and the gigantic Datura 'tree' was awesome!). We enjoyed Moose McGillicuddys for happy hour (half a block away) and I can personally vouch for the margaritas. Overall I would recommend this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is a very nice condo in a perfect location. The beds were oh so comfortable. Nice kitchen. The condo had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an ocean view. But we thoroughly enjoyed the birds in the nearby green space. It was a very short walk to a perfect beach for swimming and snorkeling. Close to shops and dining. The swimming pools are nice and they have areas with grills for cooking. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

This is a nice condo across the street from the beach. Everything is as described. The owners, Dave and Dixie, are very helpful. I would stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: I have been traveling to Kihei from Vancouver since 1969. Every year when I went back, I wanted to stay longer. When I met Dixie, who later became my wife, I brought her to Maui for our honeymoon, she fell in love with this Island. We finally had the opportunity to buy a property and now we would like to share it with you. We hope to have you as our guests.
Why the Owner Chose Maui Banyan:
Since I have vacationed in Maui all my life, I have become very familiar with the island and particularly Kihei. I will be happy to share my knowledge with you. The Maui Banyan had the most appeal with a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants (including Moose McGilly cuddy's with their daily happy hours) and other amenities.

Sitting on the lanai with the lush gardens, makes it private and comfortable to enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper or your afternoon mai tai! Not to mention the short walk to Kamaole Beach Park II.
