  This is definitely a luxury retreat in Big Bear. I have rented numerous private homes throughout the United States via VRBO and this one comes highly recommended. This cabin is equipped with everything you need and then some. It has a cozy cabin feel and plenty of room for everyone. The man cave in the back was a special treat for everyone! Kids, men and even the girls! Our kids loved to go up and down the hill right in the backyard. This provided hours of fun for everyone. Everything from games, movies, Wii, Wifi to entertain all. Only steps away from the base of Bear Mountain and a very short ride into the village. The cabin was so wonderful though we barely left! We can't wait to go back and visit again. A huge thank you to the owner Mike. What a pleasure to work with and so accommodating on many levels. Extremely responsive, answered all our questions and provided lots of additional information in the welcome book provided in the cabin. A hidden gem in the mountains:)

  This house worked out very well for our group. There were 10 of us and we all fit perfectly. The TV/Game room was where we spent most of our time watching football when not out on the slopes. It was very cold outside when we were there but the heater kept us all very warm inside. We had dinner at the dining room table, and the kitchen had enough dishes for all of us. Overall it was a great stay! The coffee pot was really nice but we were sad to find no coffee in the house, and no oil or pam for making breakfast. It was just something we forgot to bring, and who even knows who's responsibility it is to have these things. Otherwise everything was great, and our whole party was very impressed. Thanks for a great stay!

And yes, you are right, leaving food items (such as coffee, oil, pam, etc ...) for our guests was always touchy situation. We never know how many weekends we'll rent the cabin in the month, and food products can sit there for longer time, get over expiration date, which can cost some problems. Therefore we do not provide this kind of service. However, we deeply value your opinion and thank you Natalie for your feedback. Hopefully you understand, we appreciate your stay, as always. What counts the most for us, is joyful happiness of our guests.

  Overall, this Cabin house was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do this place much justice. It is much more appealing in person. The place is in great condition and the furniture is all new. The location is not far at all from Snow Summit-it is about 4 minutes away. The neighborhood is very nice. The owners are very kind people. They made our cabin trip that much more amazing. They also had a binder full of information on how to run the house and how to get to different sites. My family and I had an amazing time. We absolutely loved it and were very content with everything. I would highly recommend this select this cabin house to rent for any holiday or vacation.

  We enjoyed 4 fun-filled days and 3 wonderful nights in this home over Christmas weekend! The gracious hosts surprised us with decorating the home for Christmas, and were so generous to leave wine glasses and an inviting bottle of wine on the table to greet us. The personal touches gave us the feel of a resort - alongside the gorgeous rich decor and heavy wood furniture. We literally sank into luxury in the master suite! Besides the open kitchen concept that allowed my sisters and I to cook together, the real highlight was the enormous game room! I believe half our family learned how to play pool this week, and the room was so spacious that we were all able to fit in there to celebrate Christmas Eve gift opening and then the watch the kids (and some adults) compete in our first annual sledding competition in the backyard! We loved it! Our hosts were gracious and easily available! ... A new family tradition has blossomed!

• THE PERFECT SPOT!!

  We were looking for a place close to the mountain that had enough space for all of us. Well, we found the perfect house!! It's perfect for many reasons, but mainly because it's within walking distance to the ski lifts and this house has a lot of open space. My favorite part of the house is the "man cave" in the back. It has a 45" flat screen, a huge manly couch that comfortably sits 6 grown men and, get this, a pool table!! Don't worry ladies...if man caves aren't your thing, there is a great living room with a fireplace and two comfortable couches set in the open space with the dining area and the wide-open kitchen. We, obviously, went during the warmer months so we got to enjoy the beautiful mornings on the numerous decks surrounding the house, and we were a 5 minute drive to the lake, which was nice. OVERALL, our goal was to stake out a place for ourselves during the winter months so we can get a head start on our plans. As much as I was hesitant to give this review...so I could keep this little gem for ourselves...I can't help but brag about how perfect this place is. I've stayed in many rentals over the years in BB and this one wins by a landslide!! Finding a home that is clean, comfortable, warm, open and less than a 10 minute walk to the base of the mountain is not an easy task. Well, look no further...I know we won't have to. HIGHLIGHTS: -very clean -new furniture -man cave -close to mountain -very open spaces -comfortably accommodates 10 people

  Our stay in this wonderful home was memorable! The house is spacious with lots of places to sit and hang out (living room, dining room, numerous decks) and our favorite room, the "game room!" The game room is huge, the pool table provided hours of fun for our kids, and it was just the perfect room for my family to be together! Many comfortable beds! The king bed was heaven! Clean house. The house is in a quiet, peaceful location and was close to everywhere we wanted to go. There's a little sandwich shop on the way to the house called "Bear Belly," and we enjoyed great sandwiches there and had nice, friendly service! Great property!

  We stayed here in July of this year. Very beautiful property. Very relaxing, quiet, and peaceful. Will stay here again for sure!
