Not what I expected
Not what I expected
The house was not clean, including the bathrooms. The couch was very used and uncomfortable to sit on. The dishwasher did not work and the stove had to have 45 minutes to start working. The beach view was between a house and a storage building.

About the owner: My wife and I bought this house, the week before Hurricane Katrina. Needless to say, it was right in the eye of the storm. The distruction in this neighborhood was unbelievable most of the houses were wiped out; but incredibly our home was spared by a huge oak tree that was uprooted and fell across the front. This Oak saved our home from being completely leveled; but we still got six feet of water and extensive damage. We currently live in Metairie, La.
Why the Owner Chose Gulfport:
We bought this house because we love this area; my wife loved to take the scenic ride from New Orleans and admire the Historic Homes along HW 90.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Once you walk into this home, you feel at peace. We love to just get away from everything and relax. We often go to Island View, which is a short walk from our house. We often take a ride to Biloxi and visit one of the numerous casinos or go to dinner. We also enjoy having lunch in some restaurant on the water and admire the view. My wife enjoys going to the Outlet-Mall or Edge Water Mall and get some shopping done. Everything is conveniently close to our property.
