  I stayed in the this one bedroom place and couldn't have loved it more! It has everything you could want in a rental: it's big, clean and in a great location. I'd recommend everyone stay here.

  Our experience was excellent. The staff was helpful and informative on arrival. We had a basket of fruit and water waiting for us, which was a wonderful surprise as we arrived late. The decor was uplifting and the surrounding made this a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the property and the eye to detail on lines, surfaces and lighting. I would come and stay again next time we visit Colombia.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We enjoyed our stay at his lovely apartment in the heart of Cartagena. The location was excellent and service was great. The decorations were superb. The only thing missing were some paintings that were on the website. This is good value for the money. We recommend it.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  I struggled whether to give this property an "average" or "good" rating. The pictures definitely capture the design of the apartment accurately. It's very stylish; however, the building where it's located, not so much. The building appears run down and I was a bit concerned when we first arrived. So it's quite a surprise to enter the unit and discover it's high design. A word of caution: We were misled by a past reviewer's comments about the pool. Though there is a small pool on the rooftop, we found that it is not available for use with this apartment. This was an important point to us, and looking back, we realized the owner did not respond to our advance question about the pool. We ended up spending quite a bit of money to go to the nearby Santa Clara's beautiful pool, so that is always an option. The staff people (and the owner, whom we encountered) were very nice and helpful. We did mention to the staff was that there was no hot water in the shower, which was lukewarm at best. The pressure is also very low but we attributed that to being an old building. They told us it was working fine, so we just left it at that. So just don't expect a great shower while staying in the apartment. The location was certainly fine, in walking distance to most of the attractions in the old city.

  I HIGHLY recommend you stay at his place while in Cartagena. Look no further. The location within the old city walls is ideal, the apartment is very modern (ice cold A/C was fantastic!) and very well appointed, and the penthouse level is amazing! Sweeping views of the entire city, with a small private pool and jacuzzi to relax in while taking in the views of the ocean on one side and city center on the other. The owner, Alberto and his on site staff are extremely kind and helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we go there. We will be coming back!!!
