This 3 bedroom 2 bath with a loft is situated on a lot with a 30 mile long range view surrounded by 2400 sq ft of deck. The Virginia Fieldstone wood burning fireplace is vaulted 28 ft in the living room. The master bedroom has a king bed and master bath with a shower and whirlpool. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the other 2 twin beds, and the loft has a king size bed. This house was perfect for a long weekend to the NC mountains for skiing at Sugar (easy 10 minute drive). But honestly when we arrived at the house, we almost did not go skiing for the mere fact of enjoying this house and taking in the spectacular views. It is that incredible! Took a panoromic picture from my phone and shared with my entire family...they're response "please keep the information on that house".Owner response: Gregg, Thanks for taking the time for sharing your comments. My wife and I designed and contracted to build this home. It took 12 weeks to assemble the logs in Canada, and diassembled and were loaded on 3 trailers and erected by crane in 5 days. The house was designed around the natural setting of the property.

Travelers who really appreicate fine craftmanship will really enjoy this peaceful getaway. You will be overpowered by the size of these Great Canadian White Pine logs harvested from northern Ontario, Canada. Many of these logs are over 60-70 years old, and measure 24-30 inches in diameter.
