Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: When David and I first married we had a dream of owning a cabin on Lake Vermilion. I grew up canoeing in the Boundary Waters National Park and Vermilion borders this park. In 1995 we bought island property on Vermilion and have raised our family enjoying the summers on Lake Vermilion.
The time we spend in this magical place have created memories that have bonded us together in a way that would not have happened in Minneapolis. The beauty of this place never ceases to take my breath away. My muscles relax the minute we see the water.
In 2012 we bought the cutest vintage 1950's cabin on the mainland and named it Caroline's Cottage. It has been lovingly restored with hand-craftmandhsip.
We want to share the Vermilion experience with you! We want you to feel like it is your own retreat and to offer you a place to create memories you will not forget, year after year.
David, Marci, Lauren, Ellen and Caroline
