Accommodations: Studio Cabin, One Bedroom (queen futon), Living Room (sleeper sofa), One Bath, fully supplied kitchen, linens supplied, Wood Burning Pizza Oven, Direct TV, fishing boat with 15 hp motor included, Boat slip available for your boat. Swimming and snorkeling off dock. Cabin just 44 ft from the water. Some of the best small mouth bass fishing in North America. Also, all 10 lakes of the Manitowish Chain are Class A musky. Directions: Just 23 miles North of Minocqua on US Highway 51 (I- 39). Turn Left (West) on Powell Rd (1.5miles) Turn Left (South) on Alder Lake Rd (1.5 miles) to our sign (Tom and Karen Everson)

Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: I, Tom (Dr Cheese), am a retired cheesemaker from Central WI, having my PhD in cheesemaking from UW Madison WI. This northwoods cabin retreat had been a cabin rental for 40 years before our purchase. Previously known as Pomeys Birchwood Resort, it has now been fully and extensively remodeled in 2005 and has a beautiful setting nestled in the Hemlocks and Birch trees adjacent to our home and the water. We make Wood Fired Pizzas year round in the brick oven inside the cabin and if the tenant is interested we will provide this for you. There is a small additional fee for this service. Fishing is top notch. Looking forward to your stay!
