This is a lovely villa all on one level with a screened porch on the back overlooking a lagoon with ducks, fish, and turtles.The location is very quiet and is ideal for the guest who desires a peaceful location. The building is made of oyster shell tabby, an historic material developed on the Sea Islands of Georgia.

This villa has recently been refurbished with beautiful new flooring and carpets and has been recently painted. The unit consists of 2 bedrooms each with a private bath. One room has 2 twin beds and the other has a king size bed which has recently been replaced with a new tempurpedic top mattress. The sofa makes into a queen bed.

The kitchen is small but well equipped and opens into the dining area which has a mahogany table. 2 leaves can be added to sit up to 8 comfortably for a nice dinner. The living area has a 40 inch large screen Sony Tv and a DVD player for your movie pleasure. The furnishings are lovely and include a room size oriental carpet.It opens onto a screened porch with ceiling fan and a round table that seats 4 and looks out to the lagoon.

We have recently purchased a new BBQ charocoal grill and added a chiminea for an outdoor evening in front of the fire.We have purchased 4 outdoor chairs for gathering in front of the fire. We also have just added broadband cable internet and it is really fast!!

If you come here once, you will want to return. This island gets in your heart! My villa is tastefully furnished and well cared for as it is a place I love!!! The old Coast Guard Station Beach is about a ten minute drive away and there is a lot to do on the island.

My family loves to eat out, shop, fish and crab, go biking and visit the many historical sites along the coast...a lot happened here and there are many wonderful day trips you can take to Little St Simons, Cumberland Island, Sapelo Island, Savannah and Fernandina, just to name a few.
