My family said that this vacation topped all others. First, my daughter (very critical) came in to the condo and was very pleased with the layout, comforts, cleanliness, powerful shower, and amenities. Second, the owner made sure we had everything we needed even a crock pot that I requested, and she was always prompt with emails and / or phone calls. Most importantly, we felt we made a lasting friendship, and would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family. My family, all adults now, ski and snowboard so we spent most of our time at Vail. We took the shuttle which came every 20 mins. during peak hrs. and every 30 mins. during non-peak hrs. to Vail Village, so if you want to go to Lionshead Village, then you need to do a different route or walk over the bridge at one of the stops, or take another shuttle from Vail Village to Lionshead Village. When you return, Vail Village has a wonderful heated building that shows the mins. you need to wait for your shuttle. There is even a Mexican restaurant and bathrooms downstairs so if you have to wait 30 mins. or less, you can get a drink, bring dinner back or eat there. We shopped one of the days at the upscale shops in Vail Village and Lionshead Village -- a lot of shops with ski wear such as North Face, Patagonia and boutiques. Last bit of advice, if you have to park on the street, the sign says you cannot park between 8 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Mondays or Fridays. There is free 2 hr. parking in the parking garages at Vail and Lionshead Villages, and parking after 3 p.m. is free, but do not park at 2:30 and think that your 2 hrs. will rollover because they do not, you will probably pay $15 if before 3 p.m. We hope this is helpful!
Owner response:Thank you so much for taking the time to write the review and a special 'THANKS' to you daugther for her seal of approval!! I am also glad for all the help you are providing future guests with possible questions about busses, parking etc. See you all next year (I hope)!! Anna

After our trip in February of 2011, we couldn't wait to come back to Vail again this year. This time we flew in to Eagle and rented a car. As before, the condo was spotless when we arrived and is very well suited to a family of four or five. The location is excellent--we used the car to get groceries, go into town and night and explore Beaver Creek, but we used the shuttle to ski...very convienient. We did a mixture of eating in and dining out. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, as is the rest of the condo--I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't there. Anna is a pleasure to rent from--in both of our visits, the process has been very smooth and well organized. She was very responsive when I had questions and had good advice about travel, rental cars, etc. Lastly, the skiing was incredible--we'd hardly seen a snowflake in New England this year but the conditions at Vail were great!
Owner response:Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review once again. A nice one at that!! I know how busy you are so I really appreciate it and hope to see you again next year!!

The accommodations at The Lions Mane II condo from Dec 3rd through December 9th, 2011 were lovely. The condo was perfect for our family as it truly encompassed the mountain setting for us on vacation that we will always remember. We also loved waking up to the amazing view of the mountains from the master bedroom and living room. The unit offered us and more: a gas fireplace, private balcony, equipped kitchen, parking, TVs/ entertainment ctr, bathroom and bedroom labeled organization in the closets, washer and dryer, etc. The condo for us was very clean with a home feeling accompanied by great paintings on the wall. We also enjoyed the vicinity of the 1 minute walk to the in-town bus stop! This allowed our family to really enjoy the town of Vail during vacation and could have not have been more pleased with everything; as we look forward to another vacation in that condo in the future.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the great review and thank you for taking the time to write it! Hopefully you'll keep us in mind for future vacations!

The expectation were beaten when we stepped inside the condo. With a high ceiling it looked bigger than it is. It was perfect for 5 of us, enough room. The place was close to the Vail Village, and shuttle stops right outside the building. All the art works were nice, other arts and artifacts were displayed very nicely. The unit was very clean and organized. I will definitely recommend someone to stay at the same unit unless they will be travelling to Vail during the same time as i will be. Coz' i will be staying at this place again and again when i go vail to Ski during winter.

The condo was clean, well maintained and exactly as described. The layout worked very well for our family of five and the owner provided excellent service, sending us useful information in advance and allowing us to check in early since nobody was checking out. We cooked several meals in and found the kitchen to be well equipped. While we rented a car and were glad to have a parking spot, the bus stop was right out front and we found it more convenient and cost effective to use the bus system to ski and to go into town in the evening. From my research, the price was extremely fair and we would stay there again. And, yes, the skiing was incredible!

My husband and I staying in the condo with his sister and her family. The condo was GREAT for what we needed - the views are excellent! and the bus is right outside making coming and going so easy... and so close to Vail village! A great suprise was how well stocked the condo was - not only from a kitchen utensil perspective but the small things you have to buy (salt, suger, etc.) were already supplied, there were extra towels, etc. making the stay that much easier and more relaxing. The condo is a little tight for 2 full families - but it's Vail! Just go outside! We will definetely be returning.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the nice review. Hope to have you back soon!

When I booked Anna's condo I had concerns. I ski a few times a year and always stay close to the lifts. I was concerned about distance, getting to and from, what to expect. Sending money and then getting a key. I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The condo was peaceful and tastefully decorated. The bus stop location and Vail bus experience was excellent. But most of all, Anna was more helpful and caring than the staff of most high end lodges. I look forward to staying there again and have already recommended it to friends.
Owner response:Eric; thank you so much for the review! I am glad your concerns proved unfounded and I am sorry that they might have given you some worries while preparing for your trip. Looking forward to having you and your friends as guests in the future!

I plan one or two ski trips every year for a group of us to meet out west for skiing. Many times we stay in the Vail area. This March a group of five of us, all from New Jersey, stayed at Anna's. She is a pleasure to deal with and our stay at the condo worked out perfectly. The 'bed' situation was great and we were just minutes from the slopes. I have to mention Anna's beautiful art work throughout the condo which made our stay especially pleasurable.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the nice review. Hope to see you again next season!

This is a great condo that we stayed in for 5 days. On the Vail local bus route with good views of Vail mountain. The owner is very easy to work with. Place has a great master bedroom and fireplace. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need to cook in. Parking is limited but everything else was great. Place is suitable for two families to share.

Anna's condo in Vail was excellently located, being only 10 minutes by free bus to the ski hills, with a stop right out front. The unit was not only exactly as described, but was thoughtfully equipped with every little item that made it feel like your own place - every cooking utensil imaginable, wireless internet, helpful information sheets, and much more. The pre-arrival help from Anna was great, and her followup afterwards was very considerate. If we go skiing next year, that's where we want to stay!
Owner response:Wow!!Thanks so much!

We love staying at Anna's Condo. We have stayed here four times and find it very convenient with the bus stop outside the door. We are 10 minutes on the free shuttle from all the action. Rooms are cosy and the kitchen has everything you could want for a great ski week in Vail. Each time we come back we look for Anna's new artwork on the walls. We will be back!
Owner response:Thank you Kerrie! I hope 2011 will make it your fifth season with us! You are great guests!

We found Anna's warm and inviting. This property is not on a busy street but with the shuttle stop right there, we could get to the Vail transportation center in 10 minutes. We would definitely consider Anna's condo for a future visit.
Owner response:Thanks! Hope to see you again soon!

If you are looking for a nice quiet and cozy condo in Vail, this is the place for you! The bus stop right outside the front door and with the wire-less internet access you can get the exact location of the bus (i.e. great on cold snowy day’s, no waiting), per Vail’s bus web site! The bus ride all week was only 10 minutes! Great price! If it was available this year for my ski week, I would book it again!

This condo has everything you could possibly want for a great vacation in Vail. The layout is excellent affording privacy for the three bedrooms. The home is clean and incredibly stocked with any kitchen utensil (and double on many) necessary to prepare a nice feast for the family. Wireless internet, fireplace, a marvelous view and most importantly great access to the Vail ski resort. The bus stop is just downstairs from the condo, it is punctual and the ride to the mountain is under 10 minutes. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well located condo in Vail. The owner Anna was a dream to deal with. Stop looking at other places to stay, you found your vaction home in Vail!! I will most definitely return!
Owner response:I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! I try and will keep on trying to make it even better and more comfortable.
