We had this inspiration in mind when we went looking for our "Home-Away-From-Home," and it certainly fits the bill. The views of Lake Dillon and the mountains are breathtaking, and are available from the living room and both bedrooms.
Our vacation condo is in Frisco, Colorado, the heart of everything great in the Rockies! An easy 90 minute drive from the Denver airport. We are within 25 minutes of four of the best snow ski areas: Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. But it is outside the hustle and hassle of the ski towns.
We are just across the Dillon Dam Road from Lake Dillon and the paved bike path. In summer there are nearly unlimited hiking and climbing trails in the area. The bike/walking path connects to all of Summit county. Power, canoe, and sail boats are available for rent on the lake.
Not an outdoor enthusiast? You'll be just a short distance to numerous restaurants, theaters, and the amazing outlet store shopping at the Silverthorne Factory Stores. There is also the nearby Silverthorne Recreation Center for fitness buffs, complete with an indoor pool, water slides, cardio equipment, and a weight room.
We have taken exceptional care in decorating our condo, so that you'll feel welcome and comfortable. It is furnished throughout with top-of-the-line Colorado mountain furnishings to reinforce your connection to the natural beauty that provided our inspiration. We're confident that this feeling will be obvious when you are guests in our home.

Owner Description
Peggy and Delron Shirley are teachers at Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs and short-term missionaries who have ministered on every continent except Antarctica. Our three sons also live in Colorado Springs where Jonathan works as a financial advisor, and Christopher and Jeremy are college students.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Forest
The gorgeous view overlooks the lake with the mountains as a backdrop. The location just off the interstate makes it easy to find, and the centrality of the of the town of Frisco makes exploring the mountains and nearby resorts accessible. Plus the nearby outlet mall and the great restaurants in the area add a lot. With kayaking and biking just across the road and several ski resorts just minutes away, the condo is the perfect location for all seasons.

Comfortable beds - gorgeous views - cozy mountain decor - easy access to all the fun and festivities of Summit County. We truly enjoyed our time in this lovely 3-bedroom; 3-bath property. The views are great from the spacious deck, as well as from the main floor living areas. All in all, a very nice property in a well-maintained development.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
