This new studio enjoys spectacular views of the North Shore and is near restaurants, gas station, supermarket, beaches and situated along a major bus route. Sleeping accommodations suit up to three guests: 1 or 2 adults, and one child under 10.
Queen size bed, a night stand, a wardrobe and table and chairs for dining with ceiling fan and reverse cycle A/C, Cable TV/DVD. Internet access and small desktop available in the apartment. The large and spacious bathroom has lots of storage and a bath tub with shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, sink, fridge, electric stove/oven, cutlery, dishes, pans, iron and ironing board and all linens. Charcoal BBQ available.
A taxi should be no more than a 10-minute ride and cost about $10-$15 (excluding tip). If you stop off for groceries or to pick up bus passes the meter will remain on.
Washer and dryer also available for visits of 7 nights or longer ONLY. Cable TV, radio CD player and DVD player available. Wireless internet is available.
Non-smokers and no pets. Extra towels and sheets are made available to you, but no maid service is provided. This is a self catering unit that you are expected to keep neat and clean please.
Garden has chairs to enjoy the view. The water from the property is clear and beautifully turquoise, and is great for swimming and snorkeling. It is important to note that access to the water is rocky and fairly steep: water shoes are a good idea to swim from this location. The property overhangs conservation areas which are part of the Railway Trail System of public park lands. The Parks Dept. places severe restrictions on what the abutting homeowners can build, to protect rare and native species, water run-off management and habitat. Access to the waterfront is down the side of the property on steps that are cut out of the natural landscape: some guests may find them a bit preciptious especially after a rain. However, there are many other access points to the railway trail along this stretch of coastline and to miss the walk would be a great shame as swimming and snorkelling in the relatively calm water from the dock is a pleasure not to be missed.
Only 20 minutes to Hamilton and 10 minutes from the Airport.
