This home was great. We brought a lot of things with us, and it was way more accomadating then we expected. Teenagers did not want to sleep with each other, so we were able to use the roll away beds. The beds were very comfortable and the property has a fence surrounding the yard so the little ones could play outside without any worries. This home is a great deal for the money that we paid. THE BEDS WERE TOTALLY COMFORTABLE!!! And there were plenty of blankets/pillows/towels to go around for everyone!! Owner was great, she responded right away when i asked questions. We would like to stay here again on our next family bonding trip!!

Owner response: I am pleased this family enjoyed the home, and its convience in old town and to downtown areas, with easy quick access to the freeway and US66. We communicated easily on all concerns. They were a great family, and will be happy to see them return.

Good stay in Old Town. Convenient, roomy, comfortable, good beds. Some workmanship in house is a little too do-it-yourself quality. Owner represented correctly. Would rent there again and really would reccommend it. Good home for the price!

We were very happy with your Albuquerque home. Six women staying together can be difficult, but there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. We found the accommodations comfortable and pleasant. There were plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen equipment (except NO toaster), and all the little extras that can make or break a stay in an unfamiliar place. (and the beds were surprisingly comfortable!) Modern bathrooms with good showers. The home is very old and in an old neighborhood, but well maintained and very affordable. Since it is located in the Old Town section, we were able to walk to many shops, restaurants and attractions . Tip: Be sure to take the Old Town Tour Bus that gives you an overview of all the sections of Abq. I think it's called Two Guys and a Bus - owned and operated by two young men who were fun and informative. One of the best city tours we've talked. Thanks for providing us with such a great place to stay during our Albuquerque adventure. We enjoyed Abq. every bit as much as Santa Fe, if not more. We may never use hotels again!

We just returned from the Balloon Festival and a 4 day stay at this property. The pictures and description acurately describe the property. It is old and one of the bathrooms is small, but it met our needs. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. We were unable to use the dishwasher and the coffee maker was old, but it was nothing that paper plates and Starbucks couldn't solve. It is within walking distance to the Old Town square with many shops and restaurants in the area. Very convenient location and owner was easy to deal with. We would stay here again, but this rental is not for everyone. If you are uptight, this is probably not the place for you.

My husband and I are UNM alumni who plan to retire to Albuquerque in 2014. The rental house is conveniently located within walking distance of Historic Old Town and several museums, which we visited many times during our two-week stay. It was also centrally located for us to explore housing options across the city. Rapid Ride public bus transportation is available a few blocks away on Central and Rio Grande, which we took to the UNM campus to visit more museums. We also liked that we could park our rental car off the street, securely inside the property gate. The owner provided a notebook with local information, especially about Old Town, as well as a hand-written note greeting us. It would be helpful if the notebook contained a list of nearby grocery stores, drug stores, etc. We emailed her about these and she was very helpful in her reply. We would definitely stay here again.

Owner response: My guests were a delight, as they communicated kindly questions and/or requests in a timely fashion. They were most kind in caring for the home and leaving everything in excellent order. I look forward to their return.

This is the first time that i had booked a vacation rental through VRBO, and i was really nervous about it, but this house really did exceed my expectations. My parents, myself, and my dog all stayed here, and there was still an entire bedroom that we didn't use. The washer and dryer was a god-send, and the fully-fenced yard meant that we could let my schnauzer out to go to the bathroom without being afraid she'd get run over. The only thing that i would caution against with this house is having too many people in it. I wouldn't try and fit any more than 7 at a time (and that's with 2 people sharing a bed). Also, the cable was pretty spotty with service coming in and out, but that was clearly an issue with the cable company and not with the owner. We would definitely stay here again, especially because of the location. My parents and i walked to old town and had dinner literally every night. Also, because Albuquerque is a really dog-friendly city, we were able to take the puppy with us and sit on the patios at various restaurants. All in all it was a really enjoyable vacation, and this house made it even better!

Owner response: Thanks for your stay, and I am pleased you enjoyed. I agree that seven (7) adults fit nicely, and at times there may be a couple of children along that fit comfortably on a sofa bed, too. Looking forward to your return visit at any time of the year, this area is enjoyed year 'round. Best Regards. Pauline

This rental met all of our expectations, for 7 out of state family members, to come and attend a large family event, then come home to relax, as if it was our own home. This property is close to everything, which made the stay even more pleasant! The photos accurately depicted just what we found. Starbucks is just 3 blocks away, and other classic old town fare as well.
