Enjoy Lake Murray in our cozy cottage located in the Gilbert area. A tranquil lake front vacation setting with a beautiful view of “big water”, this 872 sq. ft., open floor plan retreat has a large, decorative fireplace and comfortable furnishings. Relax in the sunroom or on the deck; look out at Lake Murray drinking your favorite beverage...deep water and fantastic lake views await you and offer a front row seat to the beautiful sunsets over the lake.
The cottage is situated in a quiet cul de sac with plenty of room for off road parking.
This is a great place for a family getaway, a fishing trip, romantic week away, a home away from home while visiting your University of SC student...or as a guest house for extra company! Come swim or fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A boat ramp is on the property for small boats to launch from and a public boat launch is located a short distance away(Larry Koon Landing). The dock stretches far into the lake and features a fixed deck perfect for sitting, dining, swimming (steps lead right down into the water), cleaning fish etc. A floating dock offers boat docking on 3 sides. A lakeside fire pit is the perfect place for roasting marshmallows and enjoying lake breezes. A place to truly unwind, our darling cottage is a place of refuge, renewal, escape and simplicity.

We were very pleased with the location and outdoor space at this cabin! The view was spectacular! The fire pit was perfect, right next too the water, framed beautifully with rocks, and the giant pile of wood provided was very plentiful and generous. Although there are neighbors, we didn't see anyone for our entire stay and it felt like we were on our own little peninsula! We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin, the beautiful fireplace inside, the sun room stocked with games, puzzles, and books, the huge dining room table, the necessities provided (including propane AND charcoal in plentiful amounts), and the wonderful owners. We can't wait too get back out to this little slice of heaven!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Excellent house on the water with dock, close to landing to put your boat in the water. Large back deck with 2 grills and sunroom so you can see those beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Had a wonderful time fishing from dock. The only suggestion I have for the owner is to cut a couple of trees down. There are a few trees that could be cut down to open up that back yard and allow for use of the ramp and let a little sun shine in. Great people to work with Adam and Kim. Awesome vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
