An Excellent Experience
An Excellent Experience
I recently spent my birthday weekend at Willow Lake. After doing much last-minute searching on here, Willow Lake had an availability that would fit all of us. I was very frustrated by the search process and arriving at Willow Lake was a welcome relief. The house was great, though we spent most of our time outdoors. There is so much to do for everyone! From hiking, to canoeing, to paddle boating, to swimming, to just relaxing on the swing and enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. The entire property was beautiful and very well-maintained. Peg was great and very helpful in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Would highly highly recommend. And we will definitely be back!

Our family from Tennessee, Mississippi, and New York, stayed at the Stone House for the Christmas holidays and absolutely loved it. The grounds were beautiful before the snow and then were transformed on Christmas day by a lovely cover of snowfall. We had our adult children and one grandchild with us and enjoyed going to the chicken house for eggs and playing in a big open field of snow, with the lake as a backdrop. It is gorgeous property and you feel like you are in the country, although the town with lots of amenities is just down the hill a short distance. We would also love to experience it in the summer and would definitely stay here again. It was a perfect holiday gathering place for us! Thanks, Peg, for welcoming us to your beautiful property.

beauty at willow lake!
beauty at willow lake!
we stayed at the stone gatehouse in aprilfor 10 days and will definitely return! the willow lake is beautifully kept, rustic and we had wonderful walks around the lake. The stone Gatehouse has a lovely view of the lake. its furnishings and accomodation are appealing and comfortable. we cooked some nights, or ate out at the many restaurants in the area. I was concerned there wouldnt be enough to do since it wasnt summer, especially for our 3 kids-- but they had a terrific time, exploring in the woods, fishing by the lake, and visiting the hen house to collect eggs. thank you to peg for all the local information.
