Home has tons of windows for natural light. Feel like you are in the trees.

House was in a good location. Pretty views, nice waterfall nearby. Home is not safe for small children (crawling or early walkers) as there is a spiral staircase that is very dangerous! There was also quite a bit of animal hair on the rugs. Price was very reasonable for the amount of space. Would recommend for 2 couples or a family with older children that can navigate stairs. Overall, a nice vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: If renter had asked I had baby gates that would have been delivered. Would have been glad to brought them up. Instead they used my sheets and new comforters to twist around the stair case. Which I did not mind, if they had taken them down and placed back. THERE IS NO PETS ALLOWED EVER! The hair on the rug... it is a lambswool rug.

The kitchen was well stocked my kids loved the walk to the waterfall. the price was good there was a phone and internet which made our stay great. the bed in the master bedroom was comfy. there was extra blankets and plenty towels I loved how the place was stocked. We will be staying here again this summerRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

at the base of mt. mitchell with beautiful view the waterfall near by was easy to get to and really greatRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
