It is located directly across the street from the Gulf, steps from the world class, sugar white sand beach! The gourmet kitchen features all white CARRERA MARBLE and top of the line appliances (six burner DACOR STOVE, BOSCH DISHWASHER, farmhouse sink). The 100 year old HEART PINE and red Chicago Brick floors will take your breath away. The large open living area and spacious dining room open up to the private pool and hot tub with large patio area complete with top of the line VIKING GRILL and OUTDOOR KITCHEN. Each of the three floors has a covered porch with ceiling fans, all overlook the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The huge master bedroom on the second floor has a king size bed and daybed, amazing view of the Gulf from your bed and bath! It opens to the second floor porch. The master bath is all white carrera marble, huge top of the line jacuzzi ultratub, huge walk in shower with two rainhead shower nozzles. The second bedroom is on the first floor and has it's own full bathroom with beautiful mosaic tile shower and Vessel Handmade custom sink. Third bedroom is located on the second floor, it has a queen bed with a pullout couch and a perfect Gulf view. It opens to the second floor porch. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The third and fourth bedroom share a full bath with vessel handmade custom sink. The fifth bedroom is a large loft style area with bar and kitchenette. It has vaulted pine ceilings. It features a queen bed and a Mitchell Gold pullout sofa sleeper. The third floor has a large wraparound porch with amazing Gulf views from all sides. The third floor bedroom has it's own full bathroom.

First of all, the location is just perfect for a wonderful view of the ocean. The house has wrap around decks on the 2nd and 3rd floor which offers a beautiful view of the sunset, while relaxing with a glass of wine and appetizers. The house is fully stocked with all kitchen utensils, as well as, a washer and dryer. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there is plenty of room for family and friends to be together in comfort. Although we did not use the pool and whirlpool, I'm sure they would be a welcome addition during the warmer weather in Destin. There are many great resturants within walking distance and offer a large selection for dining. You could not find a more beautiful pristine beach. I have never seen such bright white sand and very well maintained beach to relax while taking in the sun. This was truly an outstanding vacation for us, and we will definitely visit Near The Sea again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I just wanted to write and let you know how much we appreciated and enjoyed our stay at your home. It worked out well for the eight of us and my daughter-in-law loved cooking in the large kitchen. We found everything we needed for cooking (I loved some of your dishes especially the crab tray) It was as pictured and the kids loved the heated pool. The accommodations made our celebration of our 40th Anniversary wonderful and I just wanted to tell you so. Hope you have a great 2013. Sincerely,Recommended for: Families with young children.

What a beautiful place! We have a very large family and we have been meeting in Destin in the Fall for almost 20 years. We rent 2 to 3 large places to accommodate all of us and of all the places we have rented over the years, this was one of our absolute favorites! You could tell this house had been someone's home and not just built as rental property. All of the features and supplies through out were quality. The owners were always very pleasant to deal with and responsive to questions we had. You also can not beat the price! Proximity to the beach is very important to us since we have lots of little ones in our group. This really is directly across Old 98 from the beach. The 2nd and 3rd floors have beautiful views of the ocean. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
