This is a wonderful little house right in the middle of the beautiful historic district of Beaufort. This is our second home - that we love - not just any rental home. We've put lots of TLC into it. We hope you'll enjoy the charm of the house, the delightful breezes from the front porch (the best porch in Beaufort, we've been told on numerous occasions), the accessibility to the downtown area with all the fabulous restaurants, shops, sightseeing, water activities, museums, and more. This town is a little piece of heaven. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Our positive experience began several days even before we arrived in Beaufort. Communication with the owner was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. She even gave us some restaurant recommendations that turned out to be excellent (try Aqua!). When we arrived in Beaufort a few days later, it was dark so we didn't get to appreciate the full charm of the exterior and yard until the next morning, but we did sit out on the porch to sip some wine. The interior of the house was in impeccable condition. The downstairs parlor was beautiful with its ample chairs and sofa, and was beautifully decorated. Wood floors throughout the house. The one bedroom downstairs was very nice, as was the ensuite bathroom. Quality linens on the beds. The upstairs was nice, too, with its three bedrooms and large bathroom with double sinks and a very large shower. One of the rooms had bunk beds for those with children. The upstairs rooms were nicely decorated too, very tastefully done. We saw photographs of the family throughout the house, which was nice and made us feel as if we knew the owners and were staying as their house guests. Thank you very much for opening your home! Five stars, no question!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Folks should be lining up for miles for a chance to stay in this incredible home! It is the most wonderful little jewel on the Crystal Coast. If you want a place to sit on the porch and sip your first cup of coffee, or your last "splash" of wine, then "come on down!" Catch a terrific "catch of the day" at one of the great eateries in Beaufort, cruise over any way you can to Carrot Island,Shackleford Banks, or the beautiful Cape Lookout. When I think of my "happy place" this is it. CHEERS!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: I knew it was you!!! Thank you. We HAVE had a few splashes on that porch, haven't we :))) Miss you tons. Love, love, love

About the owner: We live in Savannah, Ga and come to Beaufort whenever we have the chance. We are glad to welcome you to our home away from home. Enjoy this little piece of heaven on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina
Why the Owner Chose Beaufort:
We bought this house because our children went to camp as young children and worked as counselors until half-way through college at Camp Seafarer. It was the perfect location to see them on time-off and gave them a place to rest in the air-conditioning, wash clothes and have home-cooked meals during that time. We fell in love with Beaufort and hope to bring many generations of family here.
