This unit is a one bedroom one bathroom beach villa with unobstructed views of the water. It is approximately 25 paces to the beach. You have the use of 3 condo pools.
The unit has a queen sleeper sofa and one full bathroom. the bathroom also has a door located off the master bedroom which is a nice option that way you can access the bathroom without having to go into the hall. The bathroom has a separate sink area and another area that has the tub/shower combo and toilet area. This is also nice since someone can be in the sink area and someone else can be taking a shower.
We just purchased the unit and have completely renovated the unit. Brand new appliances, new counter tops, new everything in the kitchen from dishes, to pots and pans.
There is a new dining room set, two chairs in the living room, and a queen sofa. There are flat screen TV's in the living room and the bedroom. One DVD player in the living room.

We just checked in today and couldn't be happier with the property. It is very clean and well supplied -- and super comfortable. The owners have really thought of everything -- including a first aid kit - to make sure renters have ALL the comforts of home. This will be the first of many visits to this property! We highly recommend it to anyone - adults or families alike.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The condo and resort were very nice. Everything was clean. The condo had everything we needed for cooking. There were nice beach chairs to take to the beach. The service was good about bringing towels etc. This unit is very close and convenient to the beach. The owner was very helpful in giving us information. The island was beautiful. We were very pleased.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our first time to Captiva. The condo was just as described, very well appointed, and we had a wonderful time. Very relaxing time. The owners were very nice to work with.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property is exactly as described in the photos. We had 4 nights and felt completely refreshed, ready to face our jobs ( mine as a tax accountant). The balcony had a good size table and good chairs, and directly faced the pool and the ocean. The living area was extremely comfortable . We spent Sunday watching back to back football games. The kitchen was full size and had most of what we needed, though I do have a couple of suggestions. I highly recommend this condo unit and will most definitely stay here on may next vacation to Captiva. It was great!Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: We purchased the cheese grater you suggested and the strainer as suggested many times guests use our collindars and strainers on the beach. So they destroy them but we try to keep extra items in the units for this reason. There are now two strainers and one collindar. That is for now until kids take them out to the beach again... I have never rented a unit as well appointed as we leave our units.

The property was exactly as shown and very nice and clean. It is a very short walk to the beach which is really nice and you can walk everywhere easily. Owners were very responsive to any questions or issues and I would definitely stay here again when vacationing in the Captiva area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our stay here matched and exceed our expectations. We could not have been happier. Even more beautiful in person. Everything is brand new and you will want for nothing. Literally steps from the pool and beach. Beautifully decorated, lovely porch, great cozy bed and easy checkin/checkout process. Could not have asked for more for a 10th anniversary stay with my husband. Thanks again!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: I have been coming to South Seas since my 18th Brithday. I am not going to mention how long ago that was but suffice to say that was a long time ago and I still love it!!!! We have 6 total units in South Seas that we rent. We absolutely love this beach. The shelling is amazing. There is usually a very nice breeze and we love to sit on the screened in patio and watch the sun set. There is nothing like sitting and watching the sun set.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We have an owner locker, with 4 beach chairs, one umbrella, cooler, and sand toys. This is a GREAT benefit to have access to this locker area since any other properties I have seen for rent other than ours do not have this option. If you rent with others you will have to get or bring your own beach chairs, unbrella, and cooler. This can be expensive and I provide it for free with your rental. You also have access to this on the first floor so that you are not dragging this stuff into the unit and getting sand everywhere. Renters comment on this great benefit all the time for our other units on VRBO.
