1BR, 1 Bath, quaint, well equipped and comfortable condo is located in the Port Royal resort on the Bayside of Montauk. Situated on its own private, pristine beach on Fort Pond Bay (a secluded, sheltered cove of Block Island Sound) it is perfect for families with small children who can take advantage of the deep beach and calm water, couples who want a romantic, relaxing get away from it all, or singles who want to relax at the beach or pool all day and then take in the night life Montauk has to offer.
The view from the deck is spectacular (all the sunset pictures were taken from the deck), with a state park framing the Bay on the left and the cliffs of Montauk to your right, and in the distance views of Plum, Gardiner’s Island and the Connecticut shore—you have the perfect front row seat on the deck for the wonderful sunset show each evening—We think it’s the BEST place in Montauk to watch it! Make sure you bring your camera!
The condo is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and easy—linens, pillows for the Queen sized bed in the bedroom and the brand new pull out, queen sized sleeper (with extra thick mattress) in the living room, 2 TV’s, a VCR, video library, some good books, dishes, glasses, silverware, knives, pots & pans, toaster oven, microwave, basic condiments, basic spices, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, tin foil, plastic storage bags, and even a few fishing poles to try your hand at fishing off the pier. There are laundry facilities on site.
Enjoy strolling the beach, skipping rocks into the bay, walking the pier out to the gazebo, fishing on pier, swimming in the bay, making a sandcastle, sunbathing in peace and quiet, swimming in the pool, soaking in the Jacuzzi, playing tennis, and when you’ve had enough of “doing”, sit on the deck and “do-nothing” sipping a beverage while the sun goes down on another glorious day in Montauk.
There is even a restaurant on the property- Navy Beach so if you never want to leave you don’t have too, but Montauk is a wonderful destination for restaurants of all kinds- seafood, Italian, American, Asian, sushi, you name it and Montauk’s got it! Many of the restaurants are “kid-friendly” and have children’s menus. Our favorites are the Harvest, The Coast, West Lake Clam and Chowder House and for dessert- Ben & Jerry’s or Milk Bar (an outlet of the famous Momofuku desert restaurant). And if you want to dance the night away, there are also several clubs- the Surf Lodge and Rushmeyer’s (just to name two).
In Montauk there is so much to do, you can visit the historic Montauk lighthouse, watch the fishing boats come in with their “catch”, go fishing in the fish filled waters surrounding Montauk, take a ferry for a day trip to Block Island, rent bikes in town, surf, boogey board, play a round of golf at the famous Montauk Downs, miniature golf, rent a Hobie Cat or Sunfish and go for a sail on the lake, laze on the beach at the condo or travel to the “ocean side” and take in the beautiful beach and ocean there, go shopping in town or down by the docks in the quaint shops, or bargain hunt at the estate sales. Whether you want days that are fun-filled and activity packed or days of relaxing (or a perfect mix of both) Montauk has it!
Mothly Rental Cancellations: Cancellations 30 days or more before start of rental period will be subject to 'Daily and Weekly Rental' Cancellations policy below. Less than 30 days before start of the rental period are subject to forfeiture of the entire amount of the rental fee at the discretion of the landlord.
Daily/Weekly Rental Cancellations: If the condo is re-rented during rental period, 90% of rental fee will be returned and 10% retained by owner. If the condo is NOT rerented during rental period 25% of rental fee will be returned and 75% retained by owner.

We stayed in the condo for a week in August and had a great time! The photos do not do justice to the actual views from the deck. The sunset is amazing!! The condo is incredibly well-kept and clean! We have a 10-month old and had no worries letting him crawl around to his heart's delight. The beach is a pebbled beach, but very quiet and so much less populated than the ocean side! It is very convenient - a short drive to the other beaches and town. The restaurant on-site is great for a sunset cocktail! Grilling on the beach was easy breezy. The deck adjoins the other decks in the condo complex but the complex is quiet and the neighbors who we did meet were very nice! I cannot say enough about that view. All of the appliances, kitchen, TV, DVD, etc, worked great! It was easy to find and the property manager was accessible, incredibly helpful, and the entire experience was a true delight! We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
