The Fifth Element was designed around the idea that when on vacation, stress should melt away. At this unbelievable destination, you will find everything you need for that relaxing getaway. Every room in the house offers stunning views of Lake Michigan, and the inviting interior will make everyone feel right at home. Sit out on the front porch with a cup of coffee and enjoy stunning sunrises over Lake Michigan. Or escape to the private, secluded back yard enclosed by mature cedar and pine trees for a campfire and marshmallow roast with the kids. If it rains, retreat to the large covered deck or gaze out at Lake Michigan from the comforts of the cottage while flames blaze in the living room's fireplace. Our cottage is perfect for a couples' anniversary weekend or for families looking to spend time on the pristine beaches of Lake Michigan.
Located on dog-friendly beaches of Lake Michigan in Two Rivers, you are steps away from a day of sun tanning and kite flying on the beach or a short jaunt away from a Snowcoaster pizza at Port Sandy Bay. For biking enthusiasts, the 6 mile paved Mariner's Trail runs right past our front door along Lake Michigan, connecting Two Rivers and Manitowoc and Rawley Point Trail. The cottage is less than a mile from Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve, which provides sanctuary for watching an array of migratory and resident birds. Two Rivers provides the best sport fishing on Lake Michigan.
Centrally located and less than an hour from Lambeau Field, Door County, Oneida Casino, Road America, Whistling Straits and Black Wolf Run golf courses, the Fifth Element is the perfect affordable home base for a variety of day trips.
The house offers 3 bedrooms on the upper level: a kids bedroom with a twin bed, a guest room with a double bed, and a master room with a queen bed. The upper level has a full bathroom with shower and bathtub. The main level features an open spacious kitchen, a living room, half bathroom and dining room. The living room features a queen hide-a-bed, gas fireplace, flat screen TV, Bose speaker system, Ipod/Iphone dock, and a book and DVD library.
We are a vacation rental that charges less but offers lots of extras, making us a rare find. We believe that when you get here you should be able to settle right in. This is why we provide a fully equipped kitchen, fresh ground gourmet coffee from The Honey Pot, two complimentary hybrid bikes/helmets, and a bundle of wood so you can kickback, start a campfire and begin relaxing as soon as you arrive.
We welcome children and dogs. Because of the spacious yard and covered deck, The cottage is also the perfect location for a small family reunion, wedding, or corporate retreat. We look forward to making your stay enjoyable.
If you appreciate a comfortable and completely relaxing vacation, you'll feel right at home. We want to be the place you come back to year-after-year, and with all we offer we trust you won't be able to stay away! Let us welcome you to Two Rivers, and if you've been here before, welcome you back.

My stay at the Fifth Element was fabulous. I work in the area and had the opportunity to stay for three fabulous evenings. I felt like I was in my own home, from the moment I walked through the front door. Anything I needed was right at hand. The scenery is spectacular from the living room and also from the front bedroom upstairs. It was awesome to watch the sunrise in the morning and gaze at the moon in the evening. I can't wait to come back for a little retreat with my husband. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was fabulous. Flavored coffee from the Honey Pot greeted me in the morning. Ahhhhhhhhhh what a way to start your day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and could take a relaxing break from work! Looking forward to a visit again with you and your husband!

We were impressed by the cleanliness and lovely interior decorating, as well as the welcoming hospitality. We were greeted by fresh flowers and a welcome message just for us on the kitchen chalk board. The bedding was luxurious like that in a first-class hotel. We were warm and comfortable throughout our stay. It snowed all of our first full day and snow removal was provided several times. Watching the waves crash against the shore in the snow was a unique experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners.
Owner response: Sara, Hope you and your husband enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace to help ward off the snowy weather. The lake is amazing in all seasons. We hope you can join us again soon! Mckensie, Cindy and Cedric

The cottage at Two Rivers is wonderful! It was clean & well-stocked upon arrival..... there were even fresh flowers on the dining room table! It is a very comfortable house, made inviting by the owners. We did not go out to eat during our stay, so we made good use of the kitchen. There are 2 great bicycles w/ helmets in the garage to be used by visitors. It's a great place to stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great stay at the Fifth Element. All the comforts of home in a clean comfortable home. Nice touches included; fresh coffee, fresh flowers on the table, and a few milk bones for our dog. The back yard is spacious and the patio is covered. We enjoyed some Yatzee on the patio while eating our roasted marshmallows. We would definitely return for another stay and would recommend this home to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So happy you enjoyed your stay and had a chance to relax around the campfire and roast some marshmallows! We look forward to having you visit again. McKensie, Cindy and Cedric
