About the owner: This home was built by Mark Lucas of Lucas Construction who has been building custom homes in the Gunnison area for over 20 years. Mark has built for many of Gunnison's local and second home owners in and around the Gunnison and Crested Butte areas and has many repeat customers adding to existing homes or on occasion building another home. Mark has been awarded for his new home designs and for commercial buildings that have been re-vamped and were considered challenging projects. Mark's reputation for quality and attention to detail is obvious when you visit this beautiful, well designed home. Come see for yourself!
Why the Owner Chose Gunnison:
The reason I would choose this property is because in a nutshell, it is ideal. If you golf, you can easily start your game by walking to the course, it's just a few 100 feet away, or fishing the Tomichi again, just a few 100 feet away. Hiking, biking or 4 wheeling at Hartmans is another local and vistors pastime and is also close to this beautiful home. The views are unobstructed and so relaxing from either the font porch or back deck. One other thing I really enjoy about the neighborhood is that it is very peaceful there.
