    Our vacation was met with Mother Nature’s serendipity. We were fortunate enough to book our vacation during the firefly light show. Sevierville is a short drive from the only location in North America where a unique species of lighting bug synchronize their flashes in a small area across 5 - 10 acres of land. A little know natural phenomenon only recently discovered by the scientific community. Vacationers in-the-know have tried to time this short two week mating season often to no avail. If you are fortunate enough to vacation during this time you must try to see this amazing display (Early June). In a good year, maybe 6,000 people have the chance experience this phenomenon. We loved it. The cabin is an absolutely amazing. It is clean, inviting, tastefully decorated and spacious. The two bedrooms upstairs and loft space worked perfectly for my teenaged nieces and nephews. They were able to sleep-in without impeding conversations on the main floor. My in-laws didn’t have to climb stairs because the master suite is on the main floor and the rest of the family with young children stayed in the two bedrooms on the lower floor. My early risers could make as much noise as they wanted and not disturb the household. Simply fantastic!

    We have a large family, and the cabin was a great fit for us! I loved having the king sized beds in all the bedrooms, and the large number of baths. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and grilling for this large brood! Our favorite thing has to be the large wrap-around decks. We spent lots of time rocking, eating, watching kids in the hot tub, and watching fireflies as the sun went down. The view was awesome! This was my first time to use vrbo and I was a little nervous, but Debbie made it easy and it was a great experience. Thanks Debbie! By the way, you must try the fiesta fried green tomatoes at the old mill cafe and grill! Yum!

    My sisters and I wanted to meet some where closer to my sisters in AL with younger children. Pigeon Forge was suggested. I researched houses on VRBO (the only way to go as far as I am concerned) We found this amazing property with three levels and 5 bedrooms, which was prefect for 5 sisters and there families! 5 king size beds all with their own bathrooms. The house was beautiful and the views were beyond amazing. We loved to sit a listen to the whippoorwills at night and watch the fireflys in may! One of the reasons this property caught my eye in the first place was the fire pit. Our family loves to build fires, cook over the fire and of course burn marshmallows! It was great fun for the children to have that feature. If we are ever to return to Pigeon Forge we will definitely return to this home!. The owners are lovely and very attentive! Great rental!

    Our extended family of 7 (ages from 20's to 70's) had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin! We were immediately impressed by the care and love that went into making this cabin comfortable for the renters. The cabin was very, very clean which is always a fear when renting something for the first time. I must say, this is one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in! The cabin's location was perfect. Close enough to get out and explore Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but an unobstructed views from the back of the cabin provides the feel of seclusion. Lucky for us, the cabin next door was not rented so we really did have the entire view/area to ourselves! Debbie was great! I would highly recommend renting from her and our entire group said they would not hesitate to rent this cabin again!!

    We arrived on April 26th....Debbie & Stan had a gift basket for us...coffee, hot chocolate...popcorn etc. The cabin was exactly as described...it was clean and spacious. The deck was a favorite of all...just sitting drinking coffee and enjoying the view of "The Smokey Mountains" and relaxing. We did a bit of site seeing...drove the "Tail of the Dragon"..."Moonshiners Run" and the "Devil's Triangle". We went "Zip-lining" and went to a flea-market. Went to Cherokee NC and went to the casino. We also went to "Murder Mystery Dinner Theater"...what a hoot...had a terrific time. All in all....we just had a great time and hope to return sometime in the future. Thank you Debbie and Stan for allowing us to enjoy a piece of your heaven!! Greg & Jo

    Thank you for offering your cabin for us to rent. Ten sisters, brothers and three spouses enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at other cabins in this area on five other occasions, but your cabin was our favorite. Your cabin was well equipped and clean. We especially enjoyed the gameroom downstairs. The pool table was well used by the men and the gaming table by the women. The area was quiet, but close to everything, and the views of Mount LeConte from the decks were spectacular. We will tell all our friends and relatives of our stay at Monte Vista Cabin and we hope to stay again sometime in the near future! Thank You!

    I went with a group of six coworkers & friends. This is a real gem. Completely private view out the back deck and one side, with a beautiful view of the mountain (many other cabins in the area seem packed on top of each other). The cabin was clean, comfortable, well-decorated with none of the disgusting dead animal heads hanging on the walls that we'd seen when looking at other cabins, and the hot tub was GREAT! Debbie was very attentive and easy to reach, and became obvious that this cabin is very cared for. It was easy to find and seemed relatively secluded, although there is some traffic noise in this location. We feel extremely lucky to have stumbled upon this. It is really just a perfect place and I look forward to another visit in the future.

    Our family rented this cabin for spring break and while we have rented many properties throughout the area over the last several years, this cabin is definitely the best. The cabin was extremely well furnished, stocked and decorated. The personal attention that we received from Debbie was fantastic, from answering all of our questions (regardless of how many we had) to checking with us throughout our stay and even after we returned home, just to be certain that everything had met our expectations. This home is not just another rental property to Debbie and her family, it is so much more and she definitely wants everyone to feel welcome. We are already planning Spring Break 2014 and without a doubt, this property is where we will stay. Thank you, Debbie for making our stay so perfect.

    We visited Monte Vista Cabin with a large group of friends for a 50th Birthday Celebration in early March. The personal attention we received from the owner, Debbie, was incredible. We received a gift basket with coffee, tea and popcorn for the popcorn maker. She communicated with us when we first arrived and made sure everything was perfect. The cabin itself is just gorgeous with views from every level and yet you are still very close to all of the action in Pigeon Forge or a hike in the mountains! The kitchens and bathrooms are fully stocked, as in the bathrooms had hair dryers and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of different size pans and dishes. The bedrooms are well decorated and furnished with quality pieces. One of our greatest concerns about rentals is the level of cleanliness. I would give Monte Vista a 10 out of 10 rating for cleanliness! Not only was the cabin incredibly clean, but everything was labeled and easy to find. The cabin felt as if it were a “home away from home” due to strategically placed coat and towel hooks. We enjoyed the large hot tub and the new fire pit outside of the house. Since we visited Mont Vista during a very cold spell in March, the only recommendation we could make is to add a gas fireplace. They do have electric fire places that emit some heat, but the gas would be a great improvement. This cabin is a perfect getaway for family reunions and any celebration any time of the year. We had a wonderful celebration and appreciated the personal attention from the owner, so we would definitely reserve Monte Vista again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful cabin!

    This cabin was absolutely perfect for our week long vacation. Their was 16 of us in our group and had plenty of room to accommodate everyone. Could have fit more if necessary! Debbie made sure we had everything we needed to make this a home away from home!! Will definitely recommend this cabin to future visitors to the area.     Our experience at this property was amazing! The cabin was beautifully decorated and expectionally clean and well maintained . We loved the king size beds and tvs in every room. It provided a nice get away for each individual family. We also enjoyed the little special touches. We were constantly saying, "Oh, look at the ......!" You can certainly tell the owners love the cabin and have a vested interest in the enjoyment of their guest. I also appreciated the help of the owner, Debbie, in providing help for entertainment while we were Pigeon Forge; only I can honestly say, we were happy just staying at the beautiful cabin!

    My group spent our second January meet up at Monte Vista. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Debbie was incredibly helpful every step of the way, and took the time to warn us of possible road closures and bad weather that occurred a few days before we left. The view amazing. The hot tubs were fantastic, the internet was fast. Everything was immaculate and labeled when we got there. The labeling was a big help when trying to figure out where to put things back in the cabinets. The cabin was way bigger than I expected. My group had 12, but could have easily fit 18 without being on top of each other. With 3 stories and two porches, there was more than enough room. It was far enough off the beaten path to be secluded, but close enough to stores that it wasn't a big deal to run out and pick things up that we needed for meals. We all had a wonderful time, and hope to return again next year. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to fit 10+ people with tons of stuff to do at the cabin. Overall, this is the nicest cabin I have stayed at so far.

    My husband, myself, and four other couples enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this beautiful cabin. First off the location was perfect, we had our privacy but also were easliy able to access both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There were lots of entertainment in both but it was nice to have the option to go to both places. The actual cabin was absolutely wonderful. Cozy and clean, just as comfortable as being in my own home. It was tastefully decorated with plenty of space for rest, relaxation and fun. The kitchen was fully equipped with all nessecities. There were plenty of fresh towels and linens and also the ability to wash if needed because there was a laundry room that already had detergent available. The master bedroom where we were was spacious and had a hot tub for two which was very nice. Not to mention the pool table, game table, 2 outdoor hot tubs, and all the rocking chairs on the porches made for an enjoyable time outside or inside the house. The owners were great, Debbie was a pleasure to work with from the start and was wonderful throughout our entire stay and even after we returned home.She was ready and willing to answer all of my questions and provide me with all the infromation I needed to make our vacation successful. It has definitely been a pleasure to work with her and her husband. I have already recommended this property to some friends of a friend and will continue to do so. I am looking foward to returning to Monte Vista Cabin myself in the near future. We are thinking about making it an annual trip. While in Pigeon Forge we did get the oppurtunity to visit Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and do some tubing which was fun if your group is not really up for skiing, tubing is a nice alternative. We also went to Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and saw Moonshine Murders. The food was good but as far as the show was concerned I have seen way better for around the same price. They have other shows there but I would not return.

    This was our first time visiting this area and we couldn't have asked for a better cabin, it was beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space for all 15 of us. It was close to all the attractions and ski resort. The kids as well for the adults enjoyed the game room and hot tubs so much they didn't want to leave.The owners have really gone out of their way to ensure the cabin is home a way from home. We definetly will recommend this cabin to anyone thinking of planning trip to Gatlinburg and hope to be back next year!

    We ushered in the New Year with our 3 sons and their families. There was 16 of us in all and we never once felt crowded. The cabin was as neat as a pin and beautifully decorated. The kids spent most of their time playing in the rec room downstairs which gave the grown-ups a chance to visit and read or just relax and enjoy the view of Mount Le Conte. It was covered with snow when we first arrived and we spent a big part of our first day sitting on the porch talking and taking it all in. We have plans to return to the cabin in the future and I would most certainly recommend staying there to anyone who wants to enjoy some special time and to get away from it all for awhile.

    My family of 14 came to Pigeon Forge for our parents 50th wedding anniv. The cabin was perfect.I have stayed in several cabins in Pigeon Forge but this was by far the best. It was very clean and cozy..The kitchen was furnished with everything. The game room was great for the kids and adults.I will defintley be back.Thanks Debbie for a wonderful cabin.

    This cabin is awsome. My kids loved it and was so relaxfull. It was great that when you get there you dont have to worry about nothing. Dont know what was better the beds or the views. Was not far from town but just enough to be private. The only trouble we had was the alarm but after the first scream we got it down. Not enough thanks can go to debbie for matching all of our needs Debbie went above to making home away from home. Thank you again Debbie. We will be back. The Walkers

    Monte Vista is so much more than a vacation rental, this is truly a home away from home! We saw and felt the love that the owners have put into the property as soon as we opened the door..and, we knew immediately that we were not going to want to leave!! The furnishings, decor and linens all feel "designer" as does the kitchen which includes everything we needed to prepare meals for our large family. The Christmas decorations were so much more than expected, beautiful trees and decked out fireplaces..and we loved the outdoor Christmas lights..really fun at night while soaking in the hot tub!! Add to this the incredible mountain view, great outdoor and deck space, even a fire pit! From my first inquiry, to checking to see that we got home safely, Debbie has been a pleasure to work with.. hands on all the way making sure every detail was perfect... We started talking about coming back to Monte Vista even as we were pulling away! Thank you Debbie, we could not have had a better family Christmas!!!

    I can't say enough good things about this cabin. My brothers, sisters and I along with our spouses take an annual vacation to Gatlinburg. This is the first time we stayed in this cabin and we all agreed it is by far the best cabin we have stayed in. It is decorated beauitfully and the furnishing are top of the line. We especially loved the king sized beds in every bedroom and flat screen tv's. The cabin was beyond clean--it was spotless!! The cabin is in a great location with easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view is breathtaking. We sat in the rocking chairs on the back deck and watched the sunrise. Out favorite evening was spent around the fire pit roasting hotdogs and making smores. We ate at the Old Mill Restaurant one evening and the food there was excellent. The portions are large so it is easy for 2 people to share. We attended 2 shows:Cirque De Chine and Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry. We did not like Cirque at all but loved Christmas at theSmoky Mountain Opry. Thank you Debbie for taking such good care of us during our stay. We loved your cabin and will highly recommend it to others. .

    The Weaver family had the pleasure of staying at the Monte Vista the weekend of Nov 30 - Dec 2. Monte Vista was perfect for us. Some of us spent most of our time in the cabin, on the huge deck in the wonderful sunshine, evening by the fire pit and hot tubs. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We would love to come back and stay again. My great nephew Hayden who is 4 wants me to buy it so he can come and live with me and me be his Mommy. Lol. He loved everything about it. Thanks again and we did have a wonderful time.( Our ages range from 22 months to 85 years of age.)

    Six ladies spent 4 nights at this wonderful cabin which rests against a glorious mountain back-drop. We all had plenty of space and so enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations. We enjoyed the shopping choices and easy assess to the mountains. We also took a day trip to the Biltmore in North Carolina, about a 2 hour trip each way. We all agreed we would love to bring our husbands or friends to this totally comfortable cabin any season of the year!

    Upon arrival, we found everything as advertised. The cabin was clean and adequately furnished as well as very tastefully decorated for the Christmas holiday. We all chose our rooms and got ourselves settled in for a great girls getaway. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We could have spent all our time at the cabin playing pool, sitting in the hot tub relaxing, reading magazines, cooking, playing cards or just watching TV. We did do a little bit of that, but being the ladies we are, we chose to do some SHOPPING. We also found time to go to the Biltmore mansion in Ashville, NC. The Christmas lights there were amazing. Being from a little further south, we all hoped it would snow just a bit, but that didn't happen. The cabin owner was a joy to work with. If you're planning a vacation in the mountains we strongly recommend Monte Vista. We sure hope to come back!! B.

    The description of the property was right on, in fact viewing the actual property out did the description. It was in excellent condition, had a real homey feel. It was well maintained and clean. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The owner was so helpful and all the information given was accurate. You could not ask for a better vacation rental. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family.

    There are not words to describe this magnificent cabin!! All I can say is that it has everything you need and more!! Debbie was amazing to work with, and she keeps in touch to make sure everything is perfect.     Dear Owners, We had a wonderful time at your cabin. It's so pretty and so well organized! You seem to have thought of everything. The beds slept so comfortable. The pillows were wonderful. I like to sleep with 3 pillows and there were enough in our room for me - yeah! The only thing was in the afternoon, the sun was in our eyes. Would be nice to add some shades that we could pull down during that time of day (((THERE WERE SHADES ADDED TO THE CABIN BASED ON THIS FEEDBACK))). Of course, we were not at the cabin much. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back next year!

    We LOVED Monte VIsta!! Super stocked with all we needed, great stuff for the TECHIES out there (like me!) I was able to stream my computer through the TV with no problem! It is beautiful, the views are amazing, the cabin is clean and decorated perfectly. I will go back here again and again! It's convenient to shopping and all of the Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg festivities. I also love dealing directly with the owners (who are great, by the way!), because you know they are invested in your stay as well. Thanks for sharing such a special place with us!     Monte Vista is the best cabin rental! The house was beautifully decorated for fall. We loved that every bedroom has a king size bed, ajoining bathroom, and flat screen TV. The hot tub on the back deck over looks a breath taking view. The kids had a blast in the game room and the popcorn machine was a hit! We didn't get out and sight see too much because we were all having such a wonderful time at the cabin! All appliances are labled with directions and are user friendly. The owners are easy to reach, helpful, and so kind! We arrived to a welcome basket full of goodies! This cabin has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! We are all looking forward to coming back next year!

    The cabin is one of the nicest in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg that I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at alot!). I love that every room has a master size bed, flat screen tv, and bathroom.Not to mention that is beautifully decorated. It is spacious and is great for large family get togethers. The owner went out of her way to obtain information for me about local fly fishing, which was above and beyond anything any other cabins services has offered!

    My family and I have been making a trip to Pigeon Forge an annual tradition for the last 5 years. We have stayed in some great cabins, but this was by far the best yet. There is nothing we could have asked for that this cabin did not have. The children had a great time and so did the adults. As soon as we walked through the door, it felt like were at home! The view is gorgeous and the cabin is in a great location. Deborah, one of the owners, is very sweet and super easy to work with. We hope to make this cabin our annual tradition as well. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful smoky mountain cabin! I hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as my Kentucky family and I did!! GO CATS!!!

    We were all very pleased with Monte Vista cabin. The cabin was very, very clean. Beds were comfortable. Lots of room for everyone. The view is awesome! Cabin owner is extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

    We had the best time at Monte Vista Cabin. It was beautiful, comfortable and homey with adorable little touches everywhere. We fell in love with the cabin so much that we ended up spending most of our time there instead of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge (which were both just a few minutes either way). We nestled in the first evening with popcorn, cards (which the owner provided in a cute little welcome basket) board games and movies. Every morning and evening, we all found our way to one of the wrap around decks to enjoy the breathtaking view. Some of us tried yoga on the porch (yes- the cabin is equipped with yoga mats), some had coffee, some bird watched with binoculars or grilled out. We were all together and could still do our own thing. It was heaven. The area is perfect because there is so much to do. Some of the guys split off and went fishing. Our teenagers went zip lining on their own one day, a couple of the ladies shopped, we all got up at the crack of dawn to look for wildlife at Cade's Cove. Heck, we even had our own at the cabin! 3 adorable raccoons snuck onto the porch every night, looking for crumbs..by the last night, the kids were waiting up to watch them through the windows! There was really something for everyone! The owners did a great job thinking through the details and were extremely responsive and helpful the whole time. My mother borrowed a book from the little 'honor library' , which was perfect because she didn't want to run around with us all day, but she enjoyed reading and relaxing up in the loft or outside in the shade looking out over the mountain. There were even bedtime stories and puzzles for the little one! For the rest of us, there was a pool and card/poker table and foosball, electronuc darts..we actually had a game night instead of going to a show (which was our original plan). We had an absolute blast and saved about $500!! I'd say it was the best rental experience we've ever had and I hope I can figure out a way to get my family together again for a repeat soon. A huge shout out to the owners- Stan and Debbie. I can see this becoming a family tradition "Same Time, Next Year" kind of thing and we will never go anywhere else when we visit Pigeon ForI

Sometimes there are folks who can't get out with the rest of the family and it's nice for them to have something relaxing to do as well since most of the games at the cabin are designed for groups.     I wish to congratulate the owners, I found the decor absolutely beautiful. Cabin was fully equipped beyond expectations, it was like home away from home. Its a very comfortable cabin. I do have a suggestion, more chairs and end tables are needed on the upper and lower decks. Will definitely rent this cabin again.

    This was one of the Best family vacations, everything was perfect. The cabin looked brand new, as if no one had ever stayed in it. The Mountain views were breathtaking as we watched the Sunrise while relaxing in the Hot tub. It was in the perfect location, for peace and relaxation, as well as within minutes from everything you could imagine to do in Town. I recommend that visitors plan to stay at least five days, to be able to enjoy everything that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg has to offer. This cabin is perfect for small family reunions. It offers a large kitchen area, two fabulous hot tubs and an awesome Game room. Most importantly, Debbie (the cabin owner) made our trip as pleasant and easy going as possible. She was friendly, helpful and has developed a great page on Facebook, that I would recommend anyone to view, if looking for a beautiful family-sized cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. My family and I will be back to visit this winter, so that we can enjoy the snow as well as the summer to embark on all of the outdoor activities and adventures. I give this cabin a Grade “A” and two “Thumbs Up.” Thanks Debbie for allowing us time stay in your Beautiful and Amazing Cabin. Sincerely, The Graham Family.

I have rented a lot of condos/cabins through VRBO but the communication and honesty of these owners was amazing. The cabin pictures does not do it justice. It is beautiful and we will be back!
