This modern oceanfront home with stunning views and a private hot tub sits just below the Yaquina Head Natural Area and Lighthouse so it is the perfect location for a family excursion or corporate retreat!
The main level of the home is the second story as it features a large open living space with a modern elegant kitchen with granite counter tops and top end appliances. There is a dining table with seating for 8 and there are 4 bar stools for counter dining. There is even a deluxe poker table for everyone to enjoy! The living space features a gas fireplace and two comfortable couches as well so there is plenty of room for everyone to gather together and enjoy the ocean view no matter what activity suits their wishes! For those who like to take in the ocean air, there is a wrap around deck for all to enjoy as well.
There are two bedrooms on the main level as well as two full bathrooms. The first bedroom features a four post queen bed and the second bedroom is the master suite on this level as it features a king bed and a private bathroom. Both bedrooms even feature a large flat panel TV so each couple can enjoy their own late night films. The second full bathroom is accessible in the hallway so it is good for the common space as well. There is a ladder that leads from the second floor to a unique "crow's nest" which is a great place to sneak away and check out the ocean waves or read a book as you lounge in the ultra comfortable over sized chair that doubles as a twin sleeper sofa.
The first level of the house features three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms doubles as an entertainment room as it features a large flat panel TV and two sleeper sofas. It also has direct access to the deck where the hot tub is located so it is a great spot for entertaining - but don't forget to dry off before you come back inside! The master suite on the lower level is perhaps the most stunning of the bedrooms as it features a large king bed with spectacular ocean views and a master bathroom with a large soaking tub and a separate shower. It is truly luxurious! The third bedroom on the lower level is designed for kids or flexible adults as it has a twin over full bunk bed. There is another full bathroom on the lower level in the main hallway that is shared by the kids room and the entertainment room.
The location of the home is second to none! It is in a relatively quiet neighborhood on the north side of Newport, ideally situated next to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse and Natural Area. The hike to the lighthouse is a great way to spend part of your day as it takes you to some stunning views and allows you to absorb the grand history of the area. There are great sandy beaches and perfect waves for surfing just steps away from the entrance to the house. Newport is also filled with plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. The Newport Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or Not!, and the Rogue Brewery and Ale House are just the tipping point. No matter how long you stay, you will want to plan your trip back right away to explore some more!

The Great room (kitchen, living and dining) space of this home is the reason why I booked it. Not only is it gorgeous, it is warm, inviting and provides enough comfort for guests to mingle, eat and watch the chefs :) I would absolutely rent this home again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

This place was great! We went fishing on a charter and all the necessary equipment was at the house to have a seafood feast! This location is close to several grocery stores and plenty of things to do. The house was very clean and I will be staying here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Loved the house! Gorgeous views of the ocean and surfers! There is not one thing we would have changed about the house. My husband and I rented this home for our daughter's Sweet 16 birthday event. We had 3 adults and 7 teenage girls and the house was PERFECT! It was nice having so many bathrooms available. Adults were able to find quiet areas away from the girls who were also having a great time. Couple small things would have been great additions: You need to post instructions on proper use of hot tub. Took us 2 days to figure out how to make it hot rather than warm. Kitchen amenities were fantastic only missed having a colander. Why were sliding glass doors sealed on the ocean facing side of the house? Would have been nice to let the ocean breeze in and hear the waves but we were unable to open the doors. Would have been nice to have digital TV service instead of analog. Super nice TV's are cancelled by very poor TV service. Other than those small changes we LOVED the house, the view, the space and generally had the most amazing time. We are renting it again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: We appreciate your feedback! We now have a stainless steel colander in the home and will soon have detailed instructions on usage of the hot tub. One of this winters storms compromised the seals in the sliding glass doors and allowed water to come in. That repair will be made real soon and guests will once again be able to open the doors and let the ocean breeze come in! We hope you can return soon to see these improvements. Thanks!

This house was absolutely beautiful...better than the pictures! The decor, the building materials, the colors...all stunning. The view is unbeatable...the best! The house echoes alot, but is great for a party. There is lots of space, comfortable furniture, and a good layout. Everyone loved the house and location. It was just about perfect for our weekend celebration. We wanted to stay the whole week. The showers are great with lots of hot water. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of room to spend time together or spread out for some privacy. My only complaint is that there weren't good instructions/labels for using technical elements like the stereo/outdoor speakers, fireplace, thermostat, hot tub, microwave/oven, lights. The driveway into the garage is a little steep and scrapes the car. However, management was very quick to respond to our phone calls to help. I wouldn't recommend this house for more than 3-4 couples. Our group was 11 adults, but fortunately they were flexible in their sleeping arrangements. If you have a large group, read the bedroom arrangements carefully so ensure their are enough/right type of beds...the sofa beds are not the most comfortable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This house was absolutely gorgeous and even more warm and accommodating than it appears in the photos. We stayed here for a corporate retreat, and everyone was completely pleased with the house. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were an abundance of towels and blankets, and there were even staple cooking items provided. The view from the deck was gorgeous, the hot-tub was great, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. We had absolutely no complaints and I can't say enough positive things about this property. We will definitely be returning in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

An absolutely gorgeous house with an amazing ocean view! LOVED it! The ocean access is no joke - not for the weak or for flip flops. We read some of the other comments about the hot tub before we went - but, we didn't have any problems with it. So, I guess the issues were taken care of. Everything else about the house was as advertised or better! Absolutely gorgeous, high-end furnishings - I didn't want to leave! Just grab your toothbrush and a change of clothes - everything else is already there! While the minimum 3-night stay makes it a little spendy, it is, without a doubt, worth every penny! We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
