All of the reviews were correct. Blue Haven is wonderfully decorated and the location is great. Sitting on the screened porch was our favorite activity of the week. Cletus and Gabby (our Basset Hounds) loved walking on the beach. They had a great time as well. Our favorite activity was the Blue Angels practice on Wednesday. It only took 45 minutes to get there and the practice was beyond amazing. Go USA! We enjoyed Blue Haven and Fort Morgan so much, we are going back in October. Highly recommended!

A Peaceful Place to Unwind

My husband and I along with a friend and our small dog, just absolutely enjoyed this place. Donna, the owner went well out of her way to make sure our stay lived up to our expectations from providing the TV station for NCAA tournament to mailing left articles to me when I returned home. The house is well situated and well cared for. The layout is a split plan, which suited us all and provided much needed privacy. We all felt absolutely at home. Again, I could not say enough great things about our experience at "My Blue Heaven".

Gulf Shores Get-Away

We had such a great time at our 1st Shrimp Festival but I must say the highlight was staying at "My Blue Heaven". There were many things to do and places to go but we could hardly drag ourselves from the house. It was so comfortable and pleasantly decorated and had every thing we needed to come in and make ourselves feel at home. The weather was gorgeous and the screened porch was a favorite to relax with our coffee in the morning and enjoy the sunsets in the evening. And thanks to Donna and a phone call we didn't miss the football games on Saturday. This was a much needed relaxing get away for us and we will definately be planning to come back to "My Blue Heaven".

Miss Donna's beach home was exactly as described and pictured. Our two dogs loved walking on the beach and relaxing on the deck and screened porch as much as we did! She is a great rental owner and her attention to details make you feel right at home. We have already recommended this property to others. Thank you Miss Donna for a restful and relaxing stay.

Wonderful Home in Great Location

The description & photos of MBH were very accurate. It was clean and beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Donna was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and needs. I would recommend MBH to almost anyone looking for a quiet place on the beach with just a quick drive to town. The house is well-laid out and comfortable. You might want to remember to bring some toilet paper. We are hoping to return again. While there we saw dolphins and spent all our evenings on the lovely screened in porch. Donna has done an amazing job with this property.

Great Stay

My father, nephew, dog, and myself stayed at MBH for a week in mid-October. The place is very well taken care of and clean. We did have to make a TP run, but other than that there was no problem. The beaches were very private. We had a great time wading in the water trying to find things. A pleasant stay.

We stayed in MBH for 12 days with our dog Angus. We had a fantastic time! This was the best vacation we have ever had. You will not regret staying in MBH. Angus and my husband loved the screened porch. The first time we walked in the home Ms. Donna was there and I have to say I felt at home. We will definitly return and stay here again. Thank You Donna for making our vacation special !!!

I stayed in this beautiful home in June of 2010...had a wonderful time..the beaches were just a few steps away...and of course my pups loved the screened in back porch...had a wonderful stay...this house is perfect for anytime...but the summer is fantastic....

Great Place with Great Golf

As advertised! My wife and my dog, Oz, and I stayed 5 nights. Everything was great. Very clean, well decorated house. Played golf every day at Kiva Dunes and Penisula golf courses. Both were excellent courses. We will repeat. My wife loved the decor and was very comfortable. Felt very secure even during the storm(50 to 60 mph wind and rain) on our first night! Highly recommend.

We spent three weeks at My Blue Heaven from July 1-22, 2006. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation! The house is perfect. Roomy enough for our family of 5, as close to the beach as you can get without havint to pay for gulf front. The water and weather were great for all of the time we were there. Fort Morgan is our home away from home and we can't wait to get back!

What a wonderful week we had at My Blue Heaven! The boys had a ball seeing the ocean and playing in real sand for the first time. Everything was perfect, from the weather to napping on the porch and playing at the beach. I will never stay at a hotel again when I visit Gulf Shores! This was a great vacation and we can't wait to come back again.
